TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Welcome to the Paragon Tennis UTR!
Tournament Capacity: Maximum 64 Boys and Maximum 64 Girls

Note: Parking is free. Please plan accordingly and check Google Maps for up to date driving information.
#2 @ Northgate - Northgate Highschool (425 Castle Rock Rd., Walnut Creek, CA) - Please park on Hutchinson Rd not in the school's parking lot. Hutchinson road runs parallel to the courts. Park where there aren't any NO Parking signs. The school parking lot could potentially lock you in so do not park on campus.

Selections: Selections are done top down, highest UTR rating down to the lowest, in groups of 4 players, up to the maximum of 64 players for boys and 64 players for girls
Special Requests: Special requests are allowed primarily for siblings to play at the same site in order to eliminate having to travel from one site to the next. When constructing the draws we will do our best to eliminate this initially. Please e-mail tournamentinquiries@gmail.com to request this. All other special requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis but not guaranteed.
Doubles Is Required:
The four players in each round robin draw will be randomly paired into two doubles teams and will play one doubles match. Participation in doubles is required so please register for each event.
Important UTR Round Robin Information.
Players will play exactly 3 singles matches and 1 doubles match unless there is a withdrawal. UTR Round Robins are UTR ratings-based tournaments that group players with similar ability into 4-player round robins.

Late Entries:
Late entries are accepted if there is space available. Please e-mail tournamentinquiries@gmail.com, with your player's name and USTA number. A method of payment will be set up via e-mail. No doubles partners requests are accepted because of the tournament type.
Round Robin Singles Draw:
All singles draws will be 4-player round robins providing players 3 singles matches, unless there is a withdrawal or default.
Match and Scoring Formats. Singles. The singles match format will be 2 out 3 sets, with a 10-Point Match Tiebreak in lieu of the 3rd set (regular scoring with add). Doubles. The doubles match format will be an 8 game Pro-Set win by 2 games.
Universal Tennis Ratings. Ratings are based on a player's UTR. The ratings are assigned between number 0 and 16+, with 0 being the lowest and 16+ the highest. Visit myutr.com to find out more.
Ranking Points.
Each match win earns a player 62 NorCal ranking points.
Checking In: Please check in 15 minutes before your first singles match, ready to go, with all of your equipment etc.

Awards:
Winners of each 4-player singles round robin will receive a Championship Trophy.
Hotel Information:
Walnut Creek is centrally located between each site so we recommend if you're looking for a hotel room near both sites to start there.
Final Note:
No pets are allowed at any site. Also any player/parent/coach/spectator exhibits behavior which is emotionally, verbally, or physically abusive, to any of the tournament staff, players, or spectators, shall be grounds for point, game, or match penalties, immediate removal, or potential tournament disqualification.
