Important Update 6/16/2019
I wanted to give everyone fair warning about this upcoming weekend weather forecast for the National Mother/Son Grass Court tournament here in Pontiac Michigan.
We have been experiencing an unusually wet May and June. To date with the frequency of rain we have only been on the grass 4 days since the opening for the season Memorial weekend. With this amount of rain the courts need 2 days to drain and dry out to be playable. In fact it's raining right now at the club.
The forecast for this week doesn't look good for playing on the grass. The forecast says rain Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday ! Which means there is a high probability all the matches will be played on the outdoor hard courts or indoors.
If we have to go indoors those matches will likely be scheduled early morning or late evening.
I wanted to make sure I gave everyone fair warning so you could make an informed decision before traveling.
