UPDATE AS OF 12/28: We extended the registration deadline 1
additional day so registration will now close on Saturday, December

create the draws, etc. on Sunday, December 30 and plan to have

If you should have any questions, please contact Steve Haas at

We encourage you to use the new Communication Center
feature. As this event is Tournament Director Selection
Process, you will be given this option once we process player
registrations immediately after entries close. For information on
how to select this feature visit TennisLink:

Meredith Pollack will be acting as referee.
Draws may be limited so that the events finish in 2 days.
Players are selected using the most current Midwest Standing List.
FMLC (players are guaranteed a minimum of 2 matches), backdraw may
not be played to completion.
The 11 and up age divisions will begin play on the 1st and
continue on the 2nd. The 10&Under Green Dot age divisions will
begin play on the 2nd and continue on the 3rd. Matches will begin
as early as 8:00 am and play throughout the entire day. Players may
have as many as three matches per day. Although we will try to have
as many matches as possible played on the first day of the
tournament, based on how many players are signed up for the
different divisions, there may be multiple matches played on the
second day (for both front draws and back draws).
The club will open at 8:30 a.m. should players wish to call and
book a warm-up court - guest fees are waived for tournament
participants. Please call 630-355-5600 and tell the desk you are a
tournament participant. Courts are on a first-come, first-served
basis.
Please arrive early for your scheduled match time, as if we have
a court available and both players ready to compete, we can put you
on.
Please read through this homepage before signing up for the
tournament as many questions are addressed here.
GET SIGNED UP/WHY WAIT?:
Please do not "wait" for other players to sign up. This is
something that circles back and then few people sign up until the
last minute. If you are free and want to play...sign up. Other
"waiting" people will see names and then sign up too and
Tah-Dah...we have a nice draw with healthy competition for
all!

the registration is still open. If registration has closed and the
tournament has not yet begun, please email/call the Tournament
Director at the club (info@napervilletennis.com) and list the
reason for your withdrawal. If the tournament has started, please
call the club and speak directly with the Tournament Director.

the USTA Referee without incurring FIVE (5) suspension points are
injury, illness, or a family emergency.

the entry deadline.
SIGNING UP FOR TWO EVENTS/MIDWEST SUSPENSION POINT
SYSTEM:
The USTA/Midwest Section Suspension Point System is in effect. You
are expected to play the entire event as scheduled. All players
will be given FIVE (5) suspension points for entering two or more
tournaments that take place at the same time, in whole or in part,
unless each Tournament Director involved agrees with the multiple
entries in writing via email. The applies to all players who signed
up for the tournament including alternates.
FORMAT:
2 out of 3 regular scoring sets, 10 point match tie-breaker for the
3rd set.
USTA CONTACT INFORMATION:
Procedure for tournament registration: because of Privacy Laws,
your contact information from USTA membership does not show up in
the Tournament Director's software anymore. Only what you indicate
during the registration process shows up. We have no way of
contacting you if you leave those fields blank when signing up.
This means, for example, if your opponent withdraws at the last
minute due to injury, illness, or a family emergency you might make
a trip to the tournament and not need to if we had a way of
reaching you. You must indicate all phone numbers, home and cell (a
MUST), email addresses and more for each USTA tournament
registration, EACH and EVERY time, for each and every tournament
you enter, even if you have played a tournament with Naperville
before.
QUESTIONS?:
Please call/email Naperville Tennis Club (630)355-5600 or
info@napervilletennis.com. Make sure you reference the name of the
tournament, player's name, and age group as we do have a lot of
tournament overlap.
Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
