UTR for Seeding
This tournament is using UTR to seed the players in each age division. The UTR rating is updated daily so the seeds are based on the UTR posted, Monday, March 11th. USTA Florida is using UTR as a tool to seed the Level 3, 4, & 5 tournaments. This was started with the Level 3 Bobby Curtis in June 2018. The findings so far are anywhere from 88 to 91% accurate a seeded player will be in the final rounds of the tournament. We are still evaluating UTR to use in future USTA Florida tournaments for seeding. Follow the link for more information on UTR.
