Saturday, 8/3 8:00pm Update
Thank you all for your patience today, as we battled less than ideal weather conditions! Please check the draws online for your match time for tomorrow (Sunday).
All 8:00am matches will be an accelerated start. Please check in to the tournament desk prior to going to your assigned court.
Due to the inclement weather today, we will use no-ad scoring in all consolation matches tomorrow (Sunday). All main draw matches will continue with regular scoring.

Saturday, 8/3 2:00pm Weather Update
Thank you all for your patience. We are seeing sunny skies and are working to get the courts dry as soon as possible to get everyone back out and playing.

Saturday, 8/3 12:00pm Weather Update
At this time, we are still experiencing rain. All matches that were in progress on both the Team USA (hard courts) and Har Tru (clay courts) will not resume before 3:00pm. We will provide another update at 2:00pm.
Our goal is to have everyone play at least one match today. If you had a match scheduled at 9:00am or later, please check the draws at 2:00pm for your updated match time.
We appreciate everyone's flexibility as we hope to get back playing as soon as possible.

Saturday, 8/3 11:15AM Weather Update
Unfortunately, we just experienced another shower. All matches in progress on Team USA (hard courts) will not resume before 1:00pm. All matches in progress on the Har Tru (clay courts) will not resume before 1:30pm. Please check back at 12:00pm for an update.
We will provide an update at 12pm for the matches that have not started. The updated match times that are posted on the draws are now not accurate due to the most recent storm. Thank you!

Saturday, 8/3 10:30am Weather Update
All 8:00am matches that were in progress on Team USA, are to report to the tournament desk at 11:45am, ready to play. All 8:00am matches that were in progress on Har Tru, will not resume before 12:30pm. The next update will be at 11:30am.

Saturday, 8/5 6:45am Update
Good morning! All Har-Tru courts are playable for 8:00am matches. The majority of the Team USA courts will also be playable for 8:00am matches. We will be doing an ACCELERATED start both Saturday and Sunday morning for 8:00am matches. All players still need to check in at the tournament desk prior to going out to their assigned court.

Friday 6:15pm - Practice Court Update
At this time, the hard courts are still wet. There is a chance they could dry by 7:15. The Campus will close at 8:00pm.

Friday 5:00pm Practice Court Update
Due to the heavy rain, the Har Tru will be unplayable for the remainder of the evening. We will provide one last update on the status of the hard courts at 6:15pm, Registration and pizza are still ongoing in the Multipurpose Room, located in the Welcome Center.

Friday 3:30pm Practice Courts
3:30pm Update - Unfortunately, we are still experiencing heavy rain. Both the Har Tru and Team USA courts are not playable before 5:30pm. We will send another update at 5pm. Safe travels!

Good afternoon! Due to rain, all Har Tru and Team USA courts are not playable until 4:30pm. Another update will be posted at 3:30pm.

Onsite Alternates
If you are planning to be an onsite alternate tomorrow. - Please arrive & sign in 30 minutes prior to your divisions FIRST match (i.e. Girls 18s first match is at 8:00am, so you would need to arrive at 7:30am) - There will be a sign in sheet at the tournament desks, please be sure you sign in. - Onsite alternates will be chosen in the order in which they appear on the ordered alternate report online NOT who signs in first. For the G18's where there are NO numbers by their names, the players will be selected to move into the Main Draw at the time of any opening by the Tentative Ranking List from 7-17-2019.

Seeding with UTR
This tournament is using UTR to seed the players in each age division. The UTR rating is updated daily so the seeds are based on the UTR posted today, Tuesday, July 23rd. USTA Florida is using UTR as a tool to seed the Level 3, 4, & 5 tournaments. This was started with the Level 3 Bobby Curtis in June 2018. The findings so far are anywhere from 88 to 91% accurate a seeded player will be in the final rounds of the tournament.We are still evaluating UTR to use in future USTA Florida tournaments for seeding. FRIDAY REGISTRATION
The USTA National Campus will be hosting a non-mandatory registration on Friday, August 2nd, that includes practice courts, t-shirts and pizza! Practice courts on both surfaces will be available.
Registration: Tournament Administration Desk 4pm - 7pm Practice Courts: Practice courts will be available from 3pm - 7pm. Practice courts are Har-Tru #5-16 & Team USA #5-14. T-shirts: Player shirts will be given out at the Pro Shop during registration on Friday night Pizza: 5pm - 7pm

Tournament Information
All divisions will be played on CLAY court except for the Boys/Girls 18s & Boys 16s which will be played on hard (Team USA).The tournament format will be as follows: 2 out of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10 point match tiebreaker in lieu of a third set. Draw Size: 32 singles for all divisions. FIC through the round of 16. There is no doubles for this event. This tournament will be using UTR for seeding. ON COURT COACHING
Participants in the Boys' and Girls' 12's and 14's divisions will have the opportunity to have one person designated as their coach during matches. Coaching will only be permitted during a SET BREAK (+ after split sets) and your designated coach must comply with the rules below. - Each player may only have ONE person as their designated coach for a match - Designated coach must be wearing the coaching wristband distributed from the tent by Har-Tru #5 - Designated coach may not, at any time, come on to the court. Coaching must be done from a side fence or baseline fence. - Players may only use their allotted time of 2 minutes during a set break to both receive coaching and rest. No additional time is given.

Florida Residency Requirement
Players and their parents are required to be permanent residents of Florida in order to be eligible for this level tournament. Paperwork (as per the link) proving the parents and player are permanent residents must be RECEIVED in the USTA Florida office and APPROVED three weeks from the start date of the Level 3, 4, or 5 tournament, Players wishing to check their approval can check the Tentative Ranking list published approximately 16 days before the start of the tournament or check with the USTA Florida office: brown@ustaflorida.com.
