SELECTED PLAYERS & ALTERNATE LISTS
Selected players and alternate lists are now posted. If you see your
name on the “Competitors” list, you have been selected to play; otherwise your
name will appear on the “Alternates By Event” link above. The alternate list
will be updated every time a player withdraws.

I'M AN ALTERNATE. WHAT ARE MY CHANCES OF GETTING IN???
Some years we have 5 players pull out of a division, sometimes none. On average, about 2 per division probably pull out. There's NO WAY to know!

WITHDRAWING??
If you need to withdraw from the Zonals, please email Takamori@scta.usta.com
IMMEDIATELY. You will receive a refund if you withdraw by July 10th.

WAIVER & RELEASE
All participants are required to fill out the USTA Waiver & Release form. Please print the form and email to Takamori@scta.usta.com or fax to (310) 824-7691 Attn: Ai Malawy.

TEAM WATERFALL
If you are selected, your team will be determined using the USTA waterfall method. That order will be determined using the UTR list the week of July 8th.

BIRTH CERTIFICATES
All players are required to have their birth certificate or US Passport on file. Please mail, email (Takamori@scta.usta.com), or fax a copy to the SCTA if you have not already done so. If you were not born in the United States, please send proof of the following:
1. United States citizenship
2. Copy of resident alien card (green card)
3. Copy of your I-485 status
IF YOU DO NOT PROVIDE THE ABOVE DOCUMENTATION BY JULY 10TH, YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM ZONALS AND THE NEXT ALTERNATE WILL BE INVITED TO PLAY!!!

SCORING CHANGES FOR 2019
Please note the scoring at this year's Zonals:Singles will now be Best of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set.
Doubles will now be an 8-game proset with a 7-point tiebreak at 7 games all, no-ad scoring.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Monday, June 10, 2019 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
