USTA Super Category II Tournament (ITF Grade 1)
This tournament will receive USTA Super
Category II and ITF Grade 1 ranking points per round won. (Please note, the ITF only ranks Men’s & Women’s 35-85 and over
singles, doubles, and mixed. If you are
playing in any other division, you will not earn ITF ranking points). In order to receive USTA ranking points for
this tournament, a player must be a current USTA member. In order to receive ITF ranking points, a
player must have a valid ITF IPIN BEFORE the start of the tournament. To find out more information about USTA &

FOREIGN PLAYERS
Non U.S. citizens may enter this tournament
without the purchase of a USTA membership. You may do so, as long as you are in
good standing with your home federation and have a current ITF IPIN. You must
also create a free USTA account. Once
you have done so, you may email the tournament director with your new USTA
account number, remit payment, and be entered into the tournament. To create

Notes
Category II for all events with national ranking point awarded.
Player gift, discount housing at University of Washington, and
locker rooms are offered. Player dinner party on Wed. July 31.
TENNIS DRESS CODE requires AT LEAST 2/3 WHITE ON EACH ITEM of
CLOTHING. Warm up/ outerwear may be any color. Shoes may be colored
as long as they are made for tennis and non marking. Seeding for
all events will use the "all factors" method. Contact the

and rates.
$32,000 Prize Money for Open Events: Men's and Women's
Singles: Winner $4000, Finalist $2000, Semi-finalist $1000,
Quarter-Finalist $500. Men's and Women's Doubles (per team):
Winner(s) $2000, 2nd $1000, Semi-finalists $500, Quarter-Finalists
$250. Mixed Doubles (per team): Winners $1000, Finalists $550,
Semi-finalists $225.

and after that time, guest room rates will be offered upon the best

University of Washington; Dormitory housing is available to
players of the Washington State Open at the University of

Recovery Support for competitors of the Washington State Open and

WSO Opening Night Kick-off Party
This year, we will be having a new Official Kick-off Party
presented by Iron Springs Resort - Monday, July 29th from 5 - 8pm.
Enjoy complimentary appetizers, live music, and a no-host bar with
other players in the roundabout - as we start the tournament and
head toward the finals on Seafair Weekend.
WSO Player Pasta Party
Wednesday, July 31 I 5:30pm to 9pm I Dinner for WSO participants is
complimentary. Guests of players are welcome to attend at $27 per
person. Fuel up for the tournament with a fun pasta feed! Enjoy
delicious creations from Seattle Tennis Club, including a variety
of pastas, vegetables and salads.
WSO Doubles Registration - Partnership Requirement
Please be certain that you specify who your doubles partner is when
registering for a WSO doubles event. All doubles entries require
your doubles partner's USTA number.
For those who do not specify their partner when registering for
doubles, your entry is considered incomplete. If your registration
remains incomplete after the registration deadline passes, you will
be removed from the doubles event you signed up for. Refunds will
not be accommodated.
