Entering two events that dates overlap
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOU MAY NOT ENTER THIS EVENT IF YOU ARE ALREADY ENTERED IN ANOTHER EVENT. (DATES OF THE TOURNAMENTS CAN NOT BE THE SAME.) If you have already lost in another tournament it's ok to enter this one.

SEEDING METHOD
For Level 4 we will use UTR Ratings for seeding.

MATCH FORMAT
UP UNTIL THE FINALS FOR BG14-18, A BEST OF TWO TIE BREAK SETS FOR SINGLES. IF YOU SPLIT SETS, A 10 POINT TIE BREAK WILL BE PLAYED IN LIEU OF A THIRD SET. (FINALS OF BG14-18 WILL PLAY A FULL THIRD SET) BG10-12 WILL PLAY ALL ROUNDS AS A BEST OF TWO WITH TIE A MATCH TIE BREAK UP TO 10 FOR A THIRD SET. (Doubles will play an 8-game pro set, regular scoring with a 12 point tie-break at 8 games all)

Recording or your Tennis Match!!!
All matches played at Lakewood Tennis Center will be recorded in HD.
The recordings will be available for purchase by
tournament competitors at a moderate cost. This is a great service which
can be used as a developmental tool to move your game ahead or simply
as a historical archive of your matches. Check in at the Pro Shop to
find out how to order yours. Your recording will be emailed to you soon after the event. First recording $25.00

10 & Under Divisions
All 10 & Under matches will be played with the “Green” Ball (or Green Dot Ball) on a standard sized 78’ court. There is no racquet restriction with this ball.

All the info you need to know for junior tennis in So Cal. For Southern California open ranking purposes, this tournament is a SCTA Level 4 For 2018 tournaments, Level 4 points will be awarded based on draw size for each individual event. Click on "more info" to download the player packet.

BALLS
THIS TOURNAMENT WILL USE THE Penn Championship ball.

For Southern California ranking, this is a Level 4 event. If you
have a time conflict, you must let the director know before draws
are made. Refunds only given to players who withdraw at least seven
days prior to tournament start date. Probable sites include
Lakewood Tennis Center & El Dorado Park.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, July 9, 2019 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
