Parking is extremely limited at Westwood this weekend due to our ongoing construction projects. With this notice, please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to you scheduled match time. We will have golf carts picking up players parking in the street. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

USTA Super Category II Tournament (ITF Grade 1)

This tournament will receive USTA Super Category II and ITF Grade 1 ranking points per round won. (Please note, the ITF only ranks Men’s & Women’s 35-85 and over singles, doubles, and mixed. If you are playing in any other division, you will not earn ITF ranking points). In order to receive USTA ranking points for this tournament, a player must be a current USTA member. In order to receive ITF ranking points, a player must have a valid ITF IPIN BEFORE the start of the tournament. POINTS: National: Super Category II Championships: 5x.
TX Section Points: Senior-600 Super Sr-400.
The 50+ Senior divisions are 600 points.

SCHEDULE FORMAT:
Two-of-three tie break sets with ad scoring for main draws and round robins.
Voluntary Consolation draws are two-of-three tie break sets with ad scoring and a 10 point match tie break in lieu of the 3rd set.
Weather conditions during the tournament may change this scheduled format.

REGISTRATION: Beginning 3:00 pm, Thursday or 7:00 am, Friday.
SCHEDULE OF PLAY: Super Senior singles (ages 55-85) events may begin 4:00 pm, Thursday. All other events 8:00 am, Friday.

SPECIAL NOTES: Consolation voluntary in Senior and Super Senior events according to Texas Section regulations.

NEW DIVISIONS - Age 50+ players - - please note that this tournament is offering the new age 50+ 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 divisions, and players will receive qualifying points towards the 2020 National NTRP Championship tournament. The 4.5 players in the regular age 50 / 55 and over draws, will receive qualifying selection consideration towards the 2020 National NTRP Championship tournament.

No-Show Defaults: If a player does not send written notice that they will need to default a match, to the Tournament Director at least one hour before the date and time of the scheduled match, the defaulting player will receive 5 Suspension Points.

Round Robin draws: a player who is defaulted for any reason other than lateness shall not play in subsequent matches. If a player or team defaults, they will not be allowed to play the Rounds following that defaulted match, and if subsequent matches are played, those matches will not count towards rankings.

SEEDING: USTA Texas recommends the "All Factors Method" of seeding for Ad/Sr/SS divisions. Seeds will be established using the then current Texas and National 12-month rolling rankings, comprehending court surface and head-to-head encounters, as prescribed by USTA National.
