V-TOWN THROW DOWN JR CHPS - GA LEVEL 4

We will be accepting late entries, as long as they do no affect seeding, through Wednesday at 12 pm. Please email all late entries to keithchildree@hotmail, and include the player's name, USTA number, shirt size, and age group they are playing in. If there is a doubles partner, please list their name as well. There will be a $10 admin fee added to the player's entry, which can be paid at registration for the tournament.

This is an intermediate-level tournament sanctioned by USTA Georgia as a Level 4 (Southern Level 5 points). Registration must be completed online. Lunch on Saturday. T-shirts for all participants.
Boys and Girls registered for 12 and under division will play on a full court with yellow balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for green balls in Youth Progression will play on a full court with green dot balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for orange balls or new to Youth Progression will play on a 60’ court with orange balls.

USTA Georgia tournaments do not offer Orange Level 2 divisions. All players that register for Orange 2 will be automatically moved to Orange 1 before the draws are posted.

New for 2019
USTA Georgia is publishing two separate standing lists for 10 and under players: Orange Ball standings and Green Ball standings. Players will receive same level points for this tournament but will be listed in separate standing lists according to their ball color (green ball players no longer receive level 3 points on a level 4 or 5 tournament).

Player selection
This tournament is open for junior players regardless of ranking. You will receive an automated email if your player is selected and your credit card is charged. Southern and then Georgia rankings will be used for seeding.

Late Entrants
USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into all USTA GA tournaments in the event that the draw is not full, provided that such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration. Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late entries.

Draws
Draws will be published by Thursday at 5 pm. It is your responsibility to check this tournament webpage for the players’ draws, match times and any other updates.

Format
Singles Consolation - FIC through Quarterfinals. 3rd and 4th place playoffs. Some consolations may not finish; Doubles - Single Elimination. Limit 16 draw for Singles & 8 draw for Doubles. Scoring format for BG12-18: Singles - Main draw & Consolation - 2 sets with 3rd set match tie-break; Doubles - 8-game pro-sets. Singles scoring format for BG10s will be 2 out of 3 short sets (sets to 4 games) with a 7-point tie-break for the 3rd set (both Main and Consolation draws). Doubles scoring format for BG10s will be 6-game no-ad set with a seven (7) point “Match” tie-break played at 6-all.

Withdrawals and Refund Policy
Before the deadline, withdraw through TennisLink. After the deadline, email the tournament director. No refunds for withdrawals after the tournament deadline.
