Events - Alternates by Event

The Girls Singles Finals and 3/4 Playoff Matches will follow the Boys; therefore the time on the draw sheets indicate the 2nd Match on which court.
I.E. a time that shows 2:02AM indicates the 2nd Match on Court 2.
A time that indicates 2:04AM indicates the 2nd Match on Court 4.

Tournament Registration will be available Friday Evening at The Champions Club from 4:00-7:00PM. NOTE: Player Registration will ONLY be at The Champions Club on Friday. It will be a good opportunity to familiarize yourself with the facility, speak with Tournament Staff about logistics of our alternate sites for the weekend, and get important tournament information. If you are not able to register Friday evening, you WILL be able to register for the Tournament at your Match Site Saturday Morning. Please allow some extra time Saturday Morning for this process especially if you are not familiar with the sites and Chattanooga.

Draws are posted. Make sure you check your MATCH SITE as well as your Match Time.
ALL B/G 18's SINGLES AND DOUBLES WILL PLAY AT CHAMPIONS CLUB SATURDAY.
B/G 16's will be split at alternate sites. Players should not have to change sites between Singles matches on Saturday, but many of you WILL change sites for Doubles. As much as possible, I've tried to schedule Doubles matches at the site of the player with the latest singles start time.

Because we have a lot of tennis to play on Saturday, and with the chances of stray afternoon storms this time of year, we are going to begin play at 8:00 Saturday morning with Singles. We will play 2 Rounds of Singles followed by Doubles.

For those players wishing to be on-site alternates, you will need to check-in at the Tournament Desk with the Site Referee or Tournament Referee 15 minutes prior to the FIRST SCHEDULED MATCH TIME for your respective age division at the following sites:
Boys 18's -- Champions Club -- First match 8:00AM
Girls 18's -- Champions Club -- First Match 10:00AM
Boys 16's -- McCallie School -- First Match 8:00AM
Girls 16's -- GPS -- First Match 8:00AM

All Competitor's are required to submit a completed Release and Waiver prior to the beginning of play. Please access this Release by click "more Info". You may print, complete and email to the TD (evoges@mccallie.org) or bring the completed waiver with you to check in. more info

Please see the attached link for match site information. We have a lot of tennis to play on Saturday so we will be using multiple sites. It is an outdoor, hard court tournament, but we do have some indoor backup in the event of inclement weather. Weather permitting, we will be able to consolidate sites for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.



The Champions Club: CHAMP on draw (26 Outdoor Courts, we will use 20 of them for match play. The 6 courts by the baseball fields will be open for practice throughout the day on a first come first served basis)

Once you enter the arena parking lot from 4th Street, drive straight to the end of the lot and the tennis courts will be on your left behind the arena.

There is a small parking lot located in between the tennis courts and the arena that is available to us on the weekends. Street parking is also available on the side streets surrounding the tennis center.


NOTE: The facilities at our alternate sites do not have lights. If we have to play late into the evening at any of our remote sites, we will utilize their indoor facilities to complete play. Sunset this time of year in Chattanooga is close to 9:00PM.

Champions Club will be open until 8 PM on Friday, Each morning of the tournament it will be open at 6:30 AM. GPS will not be available to practice on Friday, it will open Saturday and Sunday at 7 AM. McCallie is open after 3 PM Friday and will be open at 6:30 Saturday morning.

Main Draw Singles (B/G 16's and 18's): Best of 2 Tie-Break Sets regular scoring, with a 10 point match tie-break
Consolation Singles (B/G 16's and 18's): Best of 2 Tie-Break Sets regular scoring, with a 10 point match tie-break
Doubles (B/G 16's and 18's): 8 Game Pro-Set, no-ad scoring. Set Tie-break at 7-7.

We will have a Stringer on-site at The Champions Club throughout the tournament.

Mike Stephens of String Sensation will be providing Stringing for the Tournament. Mike is a Certified Master Racquet Technician and strings and many Professional Events including the US Open.
20.00/frame with your own string.
Mike has a wide selection of strings available for purchase as well.

We will have a certified athletic trainer on-site at The Champions Club throughout the Tournament. They will be available 30 minutes before the first scheduled match. If you are playing at an alternate site Saturday and need to see the trainer, please make plans to come to Champions Club before/after your match. The trainer will only travel to alternate sites in the event of an emergency.

You must email the director with your partner. We have set up a facebook page to help you find a partner. we will not automatically pair people unless you email us that you want to play and you cannot find a partner.

All finalists and champions of the July National Level 2 will automatically qualify for the same age division of the National Championships. Players must still register for the National Championships in order to be considered for the event. More info attached. more info

Downtown Chattanooga is a charming area and has a lot to offer in the way of local restaurants and attractions, but will be a more expensive location to stay.


The Hamilton Place Mall area has a great selection of popular chain restaurants and is a more economical area to stay.

Downtown is the closest to all of our sites. It is about 10 minutes from the Champions Club, and less to GPS and McCallie.
Hamilton Place Mall area is about 15 minutes from The Champions Club, and 20 minutes to GPS and McCallie. Traffic on Monday and Tuesday morning could lengthen this commute.
