Notes
UPDATE AS OF 12/26 at 7:15 PM: The draws are now posted so
please check for your match dates and times. For the B10&U
Green Dot back draw, we scheduled both the semi-finals and finals
for Saturday at 2:00 pm. In the event that the semi-final match
needs to be played (based on the outcome of front draw matches),
then the finals will be moved to Saturday at 5:00 pm. Also, in
other divisions we have scheduled the back draw matches, but some
of them may not need to be played based on the outcome of front
draw matches. If you have any questions, please contact Steve Haas
at 630-660-1943, and we look forward to seeing you at our
tournament!
The ENTRY DEADLINE is 11:59 AM...that is AM, not midnight.
We have pushed it back to allow for players to check their
availability against holiday plans. The noon deadline allows us
time to schedule on Christmas Day.
We encourage you to use the new Communication Center
feature. As this event is Tournament Director Selection
Process, you will be given this option once we process player
registrations immediately after entries close. For information on
how to select this feature visit TennisLink:

Meredith Pollack will act as referee.
This deadline is early and we will not take late sign-ups as we
need to have this all set before we, your hard-working tournament
staff, can take off some time to enjoy the holidays with family and
friends. Please make sure you are signed-up on time.
PLEASE READ THESE NOTES!
The 11 and up age divisions will begin play on the 28th and
continue on the 29th. The 10&Under Green Dot age
divisions will begin play on the 29th and continue on the 30th.
Matches will begin as early as 8:00 am and play throughout the
entire day. Players may have as many as three matches per day.
Although we will try to have as many matches as possible played on
the first day of the tournament, based on how many players are
signed up for the different divisions, there may be multiple
matches played on the second day (for both front draws and back
draws). Also, based on how many players are signed up, some age
divisions may not play out the back draw to completion.
Please read through this homepage before signing up for the
tournament as many questions are addressed here.
GET SIGNED UP/WHY WAIT?:
Please do not "wait" for other players to sign up. This is
something that circles back and then few people sign up until the
last minute. If you are free and want to play...sign up. Other
"waiting" people will see names and then sign up too and
Tah-Dah...we have a nice draw with healthy competition for
all!

SIGNING UP FOR TWO EVENTS/MIDWEST SUSPENSION POINT

The USTA/Midwest Section Suspension Point System is in effect. You
are expected to play the entire event as scheduled. All players
will be given FIVE (5) suspension points for entering two or more
tournaments that take place at the same time, in whole or in part,
unless each Tournament Director involved agrees with the multiple
entries in writing via email. The applies to all players who signed
up for the tournament including alternates.
FORMAT:
2 out of 3 regular scoring sets, 10 point match tie-breaker for the
3rd set.
USTA CONTACT INFORMATION:
Procedure for tournament registration: because of Privacy Laws,
your contact information from USTA membership does not show up in
the Tournament Director's software anymore. Only what you indicate
during the registration process shows up. We have no way of
contacting you if you leave those fields blank when signing up.
This means, for example, if your opponent withdraws at the last
minute due to injury, illness, or a family emergency you might make
a trip to the tournament and not need to if we had a way of
reaching you. You must indicate all phone numbers, home and cell (a
MUST), email addresses and more for each USTA tournament
registration, EACH and EVERY time, for each and every tournament
you enter, even if you have played a tournament with Naperville
before.
QUESTIONS?:
Please call/email Naperville Tennis Club (630)355-5600 or
info@napervilletennis.com. Make sure you reference the name of the
tournament, player's name, and age group as we do have a lot of
tournament overlap.
Messages
Tournament Fee includes T-Shirt and trophies for winners. Please wear non-marking tennis shoes and have just water to drink on the courts.
