Notes
UPDATE AS OF 12/22 AT 6:30 PM: The draws have been posted so
please check online for your match days and times. For the
G10&U Green Dot Back Draw, both the semi-finals and finals are
scheduled for Thursday at 3:30 PM. If neither of the Back Draw
semi-finals take place (due to the outcome of Front Draw matches),
then the Back Draw Finals will take place at 3:30 PM. However, if
either (or both) of the Back Draw semi-finals need to be played,
then the finals of the Back Draw will be moved to Friday the 28th
at a time TBD (we will be able to determine the time by the evening
of Wednesday the 26th). If anyone has any questions, please feel
free to contact the Tournament Director, Steve Haas, at
630-660-1943. (Because this tournament begins the day after
Christmas, you are welcome to contact Steve Haas during Christmas
Day if needed). We look forward to seeing everyone at the
tournament, and have a great Christmas!
Meredith Pollack will act as referee.
In the event you have questions, please feel free to contact the
Tournament Director, Steve Haas, at 630-660-1943. Because
this tournament starts the day after Christmas, you are welcome to
call Steve on Christmas Day if anything comes up. Thank you!
THE ENTRY DEADLINE IS HOLDING FAST at 11:59 AM on 12/22...that
is AM....this is to allow for players and families to check
their availability against their holiday plans.
We encourage you to use the new Communication Center
feature. As this event is Tournament Director Selection
Process, you will be given this option once we process player
registrations immediately after entries close. For information on
how to select this feature visit TennisLink:
http://activesupport.force.com/usta/articles/en_US/Article/Subscribe-To-Tournament-Messages
This entry deadline is EARLY and no late entries will be taken due
to the tourney workers needing time with family before the 26th
start. Please get in on time so that we can have everything set to
get prior to our holiday break.
Please read through this homepage before signing up for the
tournament as many questions are addressed here.
The 11 and up age divisions will begin play on the 26th and
continue on the 27th. The 10&Under Green Dot age
divisions will begin play on the 27th and continue on the 28th.
Matches will begin as early as 8:00 am and play throughout the
entire day. Players may have as many as three matches per day.
Although we will try to have as many matches as possible played on
the first day of the tournament, based on how many players are
signed up for the different divisions, there may be multiple
matches played on the second day (for both front draws and back
draws). Also, based on how many players are signed up, some age
divisions may not play out the back draw to completion.
GET SIGNED UP/WHY WAIT?:
Please do not "wait" for other players to sign up. This is
something that circles back and then few people sign up until the
last minute. If you are free and want to play...sign up. Other
"waiting" people will see names and then sign up too and
Tah-Dah...we have a nice draw with healthy competition for
all!

USTA CONTACT INFORMATION:
Procedure for tournament registration: because of Privacy Laws,
your contact information from USTA membership does not show up in
the Tournament Director's software anymore. Only what you indicate
during the registration process shows up. We have no way of
contacting you if you leave those fields blank when signing up.
This means, for example, if your opponent withdraws at the last
minute due to injury, illness, or a family emergency you might make
a trip to the tournament and not need to if we had a way of
reaching you. You must indicate all phone numbers, home and cell (a
MUST), email addresses and more for each USTA tournament
registration, EACH and EVERY time, for each and every tournament
you enter, even if you have played a tournament with Naperville
before.
QUESTIONS?:
Please call/email Naperville Tennis Club (630)355-5600 or
info@napervilletennis.com. Make sure you reference the name of the
tournament, player's name, and age group as we do have a lot of
tournament overlap.
