EVENT UPDATE (as of Oct. 15)
UPDATED INFO....The Girls Divisions will be held
Oct. 26 – 28, 2019. Below are a few notes as you might have questions. Feel

Per communication with the USTA Florida Section, we have reseeded (per UTR) and remade the draws (posted Wednesday, Oct. 23rd @ 4pm).

GIRLS 12s & 18s

DELRAY SWIM & TENNIS CLUB

Directions: I-95 to Linton Blvd, head east 3/4 mile, turn right on SW 10th Ave,
go to stop sign & take a left (Lindell), go 2 full blocks to roundabout and
go left on Dotterel, go 1 block to Jaeger Drive, make left. Clubhouse on the

Practice Courts. Participants MAY NOT warm-up on courts until 7:15am.
From 7:15 – 8:15am daily, there will be 14+ courts (1st-come, 1st serve) to
warm-up, 2+ courts thereafter.

ENTRY.
o
If you can play in the event, do not email or call us... you will
automatically stay in the draw.
o
If you cannot play in the event, reply back with the players’
name, which division they were in and who to make the check to and we will mail
you a refund (make sure to get a confirmation email from us)...
o
The last day to withdraw and still receive a
refund is Sept. 30.

AGE OUT ELIGIBILITY. If your birthday is in October and you aged
out of the division you were supposed to play, unfortunately you cannot compete
in the division you were registered in. You have two options:
o
We can place you on the alternate list of the older division and
if you do not get in we will refund your entry.
o
Don’t play in the event and we will refund your entry

ALTERNATES.
o
If anyone withdrawals, we will call the next alternate in
line.
o
Players that are not currently on the alternate list can call us
and be placed on a ‘late alternate’ list; they can only play if they do not
affect the seeds in the line they would enter.
·
HURRICANE DONATION. If possible, please bring two or more
non-perishable items as we will donate them to the hurricane relief fund. We
feel horrible about what happened in the Bahamas and were incredibly lucky the
storm turned north.
·
FORMAT. Will remain the same.
o
Event consists of a feed-in Consolation thru the Rd of 16;
Quarterfinal losers will go into it’s own consolation draw. There will be a 3/4
Playoff.
o
Singles Main Draw: 2 Tiebreak sets with a 10-point Tiebreak at
1-set all (includes AD-scoring)
o
Singles Consolation: : 2 Tiebreak sets with a 10-point Tiebreak at
1-set all (includes NO AD-scoring)
o
There is no Doubles in this event.
TRAINER: Athletic
training services will be available throughout the week Medicine Recovery &
Performance, based at Boca
West Country Club and Delray
Swim & Tennis Club. If you need their assistance, please go to those facilities
to make arrangements. If you have specific treatment needs or any
questions related to sports medicine that you would like to address prior to or
