All communication needs to be done by email. This provides a paper copy to all questions concerns etc. We will have less topics lost in translation. Please do not call the calls will not be
returned.
Trophies:
Doubles: in our
events that have doubles we will have medals for the first and second place
teams.
Singles: Unless
specified differently we will have trophies for Champions/Finalist of the
Singles and Medals for 3rd/4th. We will not have a trophy for the winner of
the consolation.
Water and Ice: We
have an ice machine that is open for all players and we have filtered water next
to this machine. We will not have water on
the courts or around the grounds. Please
plan accordingly. We are a 24 court
facility and this is not part of our expected level of service for most of our
events.
Seeding and Selection:
Georgia Level 3/4 events are selected off of the GA Standings. They are seeded with the Southern List. Southern events are selected in accordance with
Southern list and seeded with Southern Lists.
National events are seeded and selected off of the National List. UTR is not used at this stage. Draws are kept in real time, we do not give
out times at the desk, please go on your device and find the time you are
listed to play.
Player Amenity: Each of our events are different and we will
have different presents for our players.
A t-shirt or towel is the minimum standard and for most of our events we
also give away grips and string.

This is an intermediate-level tournament sanctioned by USTA
Georgia as a Level 4 (Southern Level 5 points). Registration must be completed
online. In the future, you can jump straight to this tournament by entering the
tournament identification number: 703485019 from the searchable schedule homepage. T-shirts will be provided for each
player.
Boys and Girls registered for 12 and under division will play on a full court with yellow balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under
that are eligible
for green balls in Youth Progression will play on a full court with
green dot balls. Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for orange balls or new to Youth Progression will
play on a 60’ court with orange balls.
USTA Georgia tournaments do not offer Orange Level 2
divisions. All players that register for Orange 2 will be automatically moved
to Orange 1 before the draws are posted.
Youth Progression
(for children ages 7-10)
If this is your child’s first time playing a tournament,
please email Eva Marie McCravy (mccravy@ustageorgia.com) or Susan Pierce(pierce@ustageorgia.com) to activate their USTA number in the Youth

New for 2019
USTA Georgia is publishing two separate standing lists for
10 and under players: Orange Ball standings and Green Ball standings. Players will receive same level points
for this tournament but will be listed in separate standing lists according to
their ball color (green ball players no longer
receive level 3 points on a level 4 or 5 tournament).
Player selection
This tournament is open for junior players regardless of
ranking. You will receive an automated email if your player is selected and
your credit card is charged.
Late Entrants
USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into
all USTA GA tournaments in the event that the draw is not full, provided that
such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late
entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any
circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament
Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration.
Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late
entries.
Draws
Draws will be published by Thursday at 5 pm. It is your
responsibility to check this tournament webpage for the players’ draws, match
times and any other updates.
Format
FIC through
Quarterfinals. 3rd and 4th place playoffs. Some consolations may not finish.
Scoring format:
BG 12-18 : 2 out of 3 sets regular scoring, with match tie-breaker as a 3 set
(MAIN & CONSOLATION) . Scoring format for BG10s will be 2 out of 3 short
sets (sets to 4 games) with a 7-point tie-break for the 3rd set (both Main and
Consolation draws).
At the start of
each day all Level 4 tournaments (BG 10-18) shall provide 3 new balls for each
Main Draw match. Used balls may be used for Consolation Matches. All draws are
limited to 16 players.
Withdrawals and
Refund Policy
Once the deadline
expires there will be NO refunds. In case of inclement weather there will be NO
refund when each competitor has played at least one match. If not, a credit for
one of our future tournament will be given.
