Due to player withdraws there have been some changes to the draws. Mostly just byes in the first round. However, the boys 18 doubles draw was re-seeded and remade due to a seeded player withdrawing. Please double check your match times on the tournament webpage.

The draws and schedule are now available to view on the tournament website. The tournament runs Saturday August 3rd to Monday August 5. Please note that we are using a second site, Harmon Park, on Saturday for Girls 18 and 16 yr. old divisions. (See address below)

If your match is at Harmon Park it will say "H.P." before the designated time on the draw. If your match is at the Plaza Tennis Center it will say "plaza" before the designated time on the draw. After Saturday, the rest of the tournament will be held at the Plaza Tennis Center unless it rains. If it does rain, we might move indoors at the Overland Park Racquet Club and/or use Harmon Park again to catch up on postponed matches. If we move indoors there will be a $5-$15 extra fee charged for court use. So far the weather report doesn't look too bad but there is a chance of spotty rain both Saturday and Sunday.

Matches start at 8am Saturday and Sunday and 9am Monday. The courts will be available 1 hr. prior to the first scheduled matches for warm up. The courts for warm up will be first come, first serve. To warm up for matches during the day we recommend MLK and Gillham public courts. (see addresses below)

Thank you for joining us for the Missouri Valley 2019 Futures #3 Tournament. Here is some general information.

1) CHECK IN - Please check in for your first match approximately 30 minutes early to sign in, etc. Please have a parent check in for the first match, as well. Both the players and parents will need to sign sportsmanship oaths.

Notify us of your arrival for subsequent matches as well.

2) WEATHER. ... Matches are OUTDOORS at Plaza Tennis Center and Harmon Park

Come dressed appropriately.

If it rains and we go inside or back to Harmon Park, times will NOT be the same, and there will be a small additional fee for indoor courts. We will communicate changes via email so be checking please.

3) PARK - Parking available on the south end of PTC or in Plaza garages free. After 6 pm Friday, may also park in front of PTC. Parking is also available on the east side of PTC.

4) FOOD & SHOPPING - We are right next to the world-renowned Country Club Plaza. You will not be bored between matches.

There is NO on site food service, but there are snacks, Gatorade, Soda, Cliff Bars, Ice Cream, etc.

5) PTC now features "play now" technology on 7 courts - your match can be videotaped for educational, entertainment or training purposes. Jump drive included for $20.

Tell the tournament desk if you'd like to be scheduled on one of these courts.

6) Withdrawals must be submitted in writing with your USTA # to adamkoch123@gmail.com. No refunds are available after entry deadline closes.

7) Playing to Completion-Heart of American follows the USTA rule of playing the tournament to completion. Players must play all of their matches, including the backdrop, unless there is a valid reason. No shows will be given suspension points.
