Courts are wet...All matches are on a 1.5 hour delay from your scheduled Sunday match time.

Be sure to double check your match times and location. Friday all doubles matches will be at RTCBC. On Saturday the Boys and Girls 18 singles will play at the Downtown Tennis Center. All other matches will play at RTCBC on Saturday and Sunday.

If you don't see your doubles pairings in the competitor list, it is because we are still working on doubles entries. Singles players who have been accepted into the draw will have first rights to play doubles. We will then add players if there are places in the draw.

We have had a tremendous interest with this tournament. Entry limit is 32 players by strength for each division. We will be dividing divisions into two sixteen draws using a waterfall selection system. Any LATE ENTRIES should send an email to the Tournament Director with player name, USTA #, and Event. You will be placed on the bottom of the Alternate List of those who registered timely, but have not made the draw. Order of listing will be by date/time of email received. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL RECEIVE THE ACCEPTANCE LIST FROM USTA SOUTHERN SOMETIME ON FRIDAY AND SELECT THOSE PLAYERS INTO THE DRAWS. ALSO, PER USTA SOUTHERN, PLAYERS ARE ONLY PERMITTED TO PLAY DOUBLES WITHIN THE SAME AGE GROUP.

This is a Georgia State Championship, an advanced-level tournament sanctioned by USTA Georgia as a Level 2 (Southern Level 3 points). Registration must be completed online. Boys and Girls registered for 12 and under division will play on a full court with yellow balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for green balls in Youth Progression will play on a full court with green dot balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for orange balls or new to Youth Progression will play on a 60’ court with orange balls.

USTA Georgia tournaments do not offer Orange Level 2 divisions. All players that register for Orange 2 will be automatically moved to Orange 1 before the draws are posted.

Player selection
This tournament is open for junior players regardless of ranking. You will receive an automated email if your player is selected and your credit card is charged.

Late Entrants
USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into all USTA GA tournaments in the event that the draw is not full, provided that such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration. Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late entries.

Draws
Draws will be published by Thursday at 5 pm. It is your responsibility to check this tournament webpage for the players’ draws, match times and any other updates.

Format
CONSOLATION - FIC Singles & 3/4 Playoffs. Scoring format for BG18-12 Singles -Main draw & Consolation - 2 out of 3 sets with 3rd set match tie-break. Doubles - 8-game pro-sets with a match tie-break at 8-all. BG10: Singles - Main draw and Consolation - best of two short sets (first to four and win by two) with a set tie-break (first to seven and win by two) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tie-break (first to seven and win by two for the third set.) BG10 Doubles matches - 6-game set with a seven (7) point "Match" tie-break played at 6-all. JR SUSPENSION POINT SYSTEM IN EFFECT.

Withdrawals and Refund Policy
Before the deadline, withdraw through TennisLink. After the deadline, email the tournament director.
No refunds for withdrawals after the tournament deadline.

All Check-in is at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College. Check-in is available on Friday from 2:30 - 7:30 pm and on Saturday beginning at 6:30 am.

Doubles Play will commence on Friday, March 30th at 5:30 pm. We expect to play a minimum of two rounds.

The doubles deadline has been extended past the Wednesday, March 20, 11:59 pm tournament deadline to 6:00 p.m. Monday, March 25.

Please do not ask us for a Player’s email address, as we cannot give out an email address without their permission.

* If everything is OK, then don't do anything. * If you entered doubles, but decided not to play, notify us by the deadline or you will be paired with another player. * If you entered doubles but still need a partner BY THE DOUBLES deadline, we will attempt to pair you with another player who has no partner. * If you have not entered, but want to play, email us by the 6:00 pm, Monday, March 25 deadline. * If there is an odd number of players, and you are the player who has no partner, we will put you in the draw without a partner, but if a partner has not been located by 12:00 Noon Tuesday, March 26, you will be removed and be an alternate in case a player has to withdraw and a partner is needed.
