Junior Firecracker Open benefitting ThanksUSA, BG18-12 L8 10U Orange L1/L2

We are SO excited about the tournament tomorrow! It's marvelous to see so many returning players, and even more outstanding to see first time players! The goal of the event is to get the kids playing tournament tennis in a FUNand FRIENDLY environment. We created the info below so everyone knows what to expect tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be fun and we can't wait to see the kids on the courts!!!
Important Tournament Information-

We have posted the times for the 1st round matches. Players will have additional matches scheduled after 1st match and possible rest period. Match times are found by going into the “Draw” tab and opening the tournament category.

Girls 12 players have been added to the Boys 12s in a combined draw..

Please arrive 15 min before match time so that matches can be started on time. Many matches are timed formats.

Some matches will be played outdoors in the morning.

Most 10 and under play will start at 9am. Check the times – Round robin draws have several rounds—You may have a bye for 1st round. The pull down will show additional rounds.

Girls 14 and Boys/Girls 12 (combined listed as Boys) will also start at 9am- format to be determined.

Boys 14 and 16 will start at noon- format to be determined.

This tournament give all players the same amount of participation points regardless of win/loss record.

L7 selection: If draw size is limited selection shall be made from the bottom up. Level 7 events are one day events and players will play up to a maximum of 4 matches.

By registering for this event, players and parents are agreeing to be familiar with and abide by all aspects of the MAS Regulations to include meeting sportsmanship expectations, all aspects of fair play, and respecting the game of tennis.

GREEN DOT BALL IN 12U L8 AND L7
BG12 Divisions in all MAS L7 & L8 tournaments shall use Green Dot tennis balls. 10U Green level 1 players are eligible to play 12U MAS L7 & L8 tournaments and also earn stars/trophies toward clearing the youth progression
