PRACTICE COURTS / LUNCH / WEATHER
We have free practice clay courts for all the players on Friday from 3pm on at LTP-Mount Pleasant and on Saturday and Sunday you can warm up on the match courts until matches start at 8 am. Also we do have 8 additional free of charge practice courts (Clay) from 1pm at the Daniel Island Club (see sites info).
All practice courts are fist come first serve, please be considerate!
We will serve a free lunch to all the players only from noon on at LTP-MP and LTP-DI.
With the potential threat of Tropical Storm Dorian we will post any updates as soon as possible.

STRINGING ROOM by SOLINCO
We have our pro stringer Kin Roseborough in charge of all the tournament stringing. He is set up from Friday afternoon on at LTP-Mount Pleasant and the charge for labor is $18 per racquet. Kin is the official stringer at our WTA Volvo Car Open and also our $100K, $60K and Girls' 18 National Championships. He actually just got back from stringing at the ATP Winston Salem Open and he will take care of all your stringing needs!

Residency Policy- USTA Southern
Must be a resident of USTA Southern. This is defined as individuals who have established a legal residency in one of nine states of USTA Southern whose geographical boundaries are determined by USTA Southern. Legal residency for juniors is that of his/her legal supporting parent(s). Individuals must be United States citizens or permanent resident aliens.
All players must have a copy of a Birth Certificate or Green Card on file in the Southern office. If players want to check if their Birth certificates are on file, they must call Southern Office or email birthcertificates@sta.usta.com.

Entering Two Divisions
Players are allowed to enter two divisions in Southern Level 1A, 2 and 3. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected in the older age division. They would be removed from the other age division. Players not selected to either division would remain on the alternate list. They would be removed from the Alternates list in the other division. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected for. Once a player is selected for any one division, no changes can be made.

Withdrawals
Before the Deadline - please go to Edit Registration section and withdraw. After the deadline, you must email patrick@ltp-tournaments.com. There are no refunds for withdrawals after the deadline.

Playing & Scoring Format
128 draw for both single divisions with Feed In through the round of 16 with Quarterfinal Playoff. The quarterfinal losers automatically go into their own back draw. The four losers will play and the two winner for 5th and 6th. The 7th & 8th do not play.
Doubles will be a 64 draw and will start on Saturday. Single Elimination with a 3/4 playoff. 6 game set with a tiebreak at 6-6. Main Draw Singles is the best 2 out of 3 sets. Consolation Singles & Quarterfinal Playoffs will be two tie break sets with a 10 point match break in lieu of the third set.
In case of rain the format would change at the discretion of Southern Section.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, August 18, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
