Concurrent Entries Not Permitted Without Prior
Approval At the time entries close, no player may be entered in two
or more sanctioned if any part of the tournaments overlap unless
each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation and
concurs in writing. USTA Regulation IV.C.12
Concurrent Entry Into Eddie Herr ITF and National Indoor
ChampionshipsThe entry deadline for the 18s division of the Eddie
Herr ITF is Tuesday, October 23rd. The entry deadline for the 12's,
14's and 16's divisions of the Eddie Herr is October 1st.
Acceptance lists for the main draw and the qualifier for the Eddie
Herr will be posted prior to the November 1st entry deadline for
the National Indoor Championships.
Players who registered for both and are selected for both
tournaments (qualifying or main draw) must notify the Tournament
Committees of which tournament they would like to participate in by
November 12th. Players who withdraw from one event to
participate in the other after the date of November 12th , or who
apply for and receive wildcards for one of the events and then
subsequently withdraw from the other will be assessed suspension
points for withdrawing to play in another tournament. Players
may not participate in both events.

Newton, 2345 Commonwealth Ave, Newton, Mass is $119 per night
includes Full American Breakfast Buffet. The Reservation Code for
the Newton Marriot is Reference #: M-HOL08UW. The cutoff date
for reservations is Friday, November 22. The Marriot Courtyard ,
342 Speen Street, Natick, Mass is $109 per night, plus applicable
taxes. Reservations for the Event will be made by individual
attendees directly with Courtyard by Marriott Boston Natick
reservations at 508-655-6100 by Friday, 11/156/2019 (the Cutoff
Date).Be sure to identify yourself as a member of the Longfellow
Club-National Indoor Participant when making reservations. These
are the only two tournament hotels. Reservations must by made by
Friday, November 17th to secure the rates.
Practice Courts
Practice Courts will be available at both the Natick and
Longfellow Clubs on Wednesday and Thursday at Wayland only.
(8am-6pm), Friday AM, Saturday AM, Sunday AM and Monday AM will all
be walk on and no reservations. You may reserve 1 hour of Court
time on Wednesday and Thursday at no charge during these times. If
you need additional time, the cost is $40 per hour. We reserve the
right to have other kids hit on the court with you (limit 4 per
court). We also have a hitting court after the am that is first
come-first serve with no reservations. We encourage you to share
courts whenever possible. Tournament Director, Phil Parrish, will
help you find a practice partner. If you want a hitting lesson with
a Longfellow Pro. please let Phil know and he will set it up. The
cost is $100 per hour. Reservations can be made for court time,
lessons, and practice partners November 15th. You can reserve

Doubles InformationThe doubles draw will be 32 teams. We will
close the doubles at noon on Wednesday. Please contact us for help
with finding partners. Also, we will pair up at random any players
who want to play.
Check In TimeCheck In Time is Friday, one hour before your first
match. Please have your waiver form ready.

Official Ball - WilsonThe official ball for the USTA National
Selection Tournament is the Wilson Hard Court Xtra Duty
Ball.
Draw Sizes: All singles draws shall be 64 players. Doubles draw
shall be 32 team maximum.Match Format: All main draws (and 3rd and
4th place playoff) shall be 2 out of 3 tiebreak sets. All Feed In
Consolation Matches: Best of 3 Tiebreak Sets with a 10 point TB in
lieu of a 3rd set.
Doubles Matches:8 Game Set with a 7 point tiebreak at 7 games
all.
Singlee Feed In Consolation Information.All singles draws will
have a feed in consolation that feeds players through the round of
32. The round of 16 and quarterfinal losers will be fed into a
separate draw to playoff for 5th and 6th place. The FIC must be
played to completion. The FIC is considered part of the tournament
and participation is mandatory for all singles main draw
players.Singles and Doubles 3rd-4th Place Playoffs RequiredAll
singles and doubles draws shall have a playoff for 3rd and 4th
place. All players are required to play the 3rd-4th place
playoff.

The Longfellow CafeThe Longfellow Club Cafe will be open for
healthy breakfast and lunches! The hours are 7-4 Friday and 8-2 on
Saturday and 8-11 on Sunday. There is a lot of options for
restaurants in the area. Please see the front desk at the club for
options.
