If you want to play it please register for it, ID # 8500663180 or cut and paste https://tennislink.usta.com/tournaments/TournamentHome/Tournament.aspx?T=210951 , as you may get in based on applications as long as you have registered and meet the requirements including play and complete you will be endorsed. The Midwest will make the selections based on their guidelines which are on the website.. Please also e-mail me if you reach a qualifying spot, i.e. the quarters of the front or the back draw, and know that you do NOT wish to play the Closed.

Wild Card/Exemption NO wild cards were given for this event
Any Wild Card request must be submitted to the Ohio Valley office before the Ohio Valley Midwest Qualifier entry deadline: June 3, 2018.
In each age group, if an earned quota position is not
accepted by a player and the Wild Card was not granted prior to the tournament,
the Wild Card will be granted to the next highest eligible tournament
participant on the Midwest ranking list.

ENDORSEMENT GUIDELINES
The Ohio Valley District has been allocated 14 "Quota"
spots for automatic selection to the 2018 Midwest Outdoor Closed tournament
this year. The Endorsement process has been updated to select players from the
Ohio Valley District Championships - District Qualifier event in the BG 12-18 age
divisions.
1) 8 Quarterfinalists from the Main Draw will be
automatically endorsed.
2) 4 players are selected from those that advance to the
Consolation Quarterfinal Round from the Consolation Quarterfinal Qualifier
Round.
3) From the 4 players that did not advance to the
Consolation Quarterfinal Round from the Quarterfinal Qualifier Round, 2 will be
selected in ranking order from the Midwest Ranking list published the week
prior to the tournament.
4) Alternates will be selected from the tournament
Competitors in the ranking order from the Midwest Ranking list published the
week prior to the tournament.
5) If a player does not reach an automatic qualifying
position in the draw and wants to be considered for an alternate status for the
Midwest Closed, the player must have played and completed their final match.

Sites for play and warm-ups Rain possibility
We will be using Northmont High School 4916 National Rd, Clayton, OH 45315 , and Trotwood Madison High School, (TMHS) 4440 N Union Rd, Trotwood, OH 45426. Please double check your site and be sure you head for the correct one, you may have to switch sites during any given day so check for all listings.
Outdoor practice courts are available at Art Van Atta Park 3180 Benchwood Rd, Dayton, OH 45414, Helke Park 833 Randler Ave, Vandalia, OH 45377, and Centennial Park 321 Union Blvd; Englewood, Ohio 45322 Thomas Cloud Park 4707 Brandt Pike, Dayton, OH 45424
In the event of rain we may move indoors. If we need to do this there will be a $10.00 charge for each singles match and $5.00 for each doubles match a player plays indoors. The most likely site is Dayton Sports Complex www.DaytonSportsComplex.com the address is 4801 Salem Ave, Dayton Ohio 45416 in the block between Turner Rd. and Denlinger, at the end of the Salem Plaza, across the street form Maria Joseph and not visible from the street.

DRAW SIZE/PLAYER SELECTION
This tournament will be a 64 play Feed-in consolation draw with a 32 draw single elimination doubles event. Typically this event does not fill so please register if live in the Ohio Valley and want to play. If more than 64 players enter, each area association is guaranteed two positions in the draw and the remaining selections will be based upon the most recent Midwest Standings List as of the entry deadline.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, June 3, 2018 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
