Sunday 6:08 update it is raining second update 7:03 am
All doubles players report to the Tennis Center as the message above. We will play in the covered courts and complete doubles. Singles will begin not before 12:00. We will be spreading out and using our covered courts for matches. Scoring for Singles will move to 2-3 sets regular scoring main draw, and regular scoring tie- breaker for the third in Consolation. Boys 16 first round of consolation will move to hard-courts and second round will be back on the clay. Second rounds of girls 16s will be at the Peachtree City Tennis Center
I will begin to schedule singles at 8 am, when we get started here, check draws after 9:30 am.
Doubles Draw Times have been adjusted.

Schedule for remainder of Day 8:20 am amended 10:21
The draws have updated times. It is our intention to play Boys 16 Main Draw on Clay, Consolation (today only) on Hard Courts. I will update at 11 am. All 12:00 matches will be preassigned courts, when they are dry you will start. We will begin to prepare the courts but you may want to consider helping on your court.
Boys 16 Main Draw will play at 12 on clay.

Rain Plan for Sunday
If we wake up and it is wet or raining, all doubles will report to the Tennis Center for scheduled time. Boys and Girls 18 Doubles will play at 8, Boys and Girls 16 doubles will report by 8:45. I will have covered courts open at 7 am. We will finish the doubles and then we will play Singles. Singles will not start before 12:00. I will update singles draws in the am and post a message by 7:15 am.

Important Information

All communication needs to be done by email, the information
is provided here: jonathan.fralick@clubcorp.com. This provides a paper copy to all questions
concerns etc. We will have less topics
lost in translation. Please do not call
the calls will not be returned.
We do not require check-in before the event, bring waiver with you to the first match. Player gifts are only available at the Main Tournament Desk.
Boys 16 will be played on clay!
Trophies:
Doubles: in our
events that have doubles we will have medals for the first and second place
teams.
Singles: Unless
specified differently we will have trophies for Champions/Finalist of the
Singles and Medals for 3rd/4th. We will not have a trophy for the winner of
the consolation.
Water and Ice: We
have an ice machine that is open for all players and we have filtered water
next to this machine. We will not have
water on the courts or around the grounds.
Please plan accordingly. We are a
24 court facility and this is not part of our expected level of service for
most of our events.
Seeding and Selection:
Georgia Level 3/4 events are selected off of the GA Standings. They are seeded with the Southern List. Southern events are selected in accordance
with Southern list and seeded with Southern Lists. National events are seeded and selected off
of the National List. UTR is not used at
this stage. Draws are kept in real time,
we do not give out times at the desk, please go on your device and find the
time you are listed to play.
Player Amenity: Each
of our events are different and we will have different presents for our players. A t-shirt or towel is the minimum standard
and for most of our events we also give away grips and string.

Weather Plan
All weather updates will be listed in this spot. We have 6 covered courts that will be used during the event. Please keep in mind when 24 courts are rescheduled on 6 delays and inconveniences will happen. I will update by 6:30 am in case of overnight weather. The forecast and radar we will use will be Weather.com, it is the same one you will have. We cannot predict the weather all we will do is to communicate quickly and precisely and mange what we can manage.

Schedule of Play
Day 1 Saturday:Doubles Followed by 1st/2nd round singles 1st Consolations
Day 2:Sunday: Doubles Followed by 3rd/4th round singles 2nd 3rd round Consolation followed by Doubles Semi's
Day 3:Monday: Doubles Finals followed by Singles Finals, 3/4 Singles 2 rounds of Consolation
This schedule is weather dependent.

Balls
Wilson US Open Balls will be used.
|
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, April 11, 2019 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
