Wow. There are a lot of you! It will take me some time to get the draws/times done. A lot will depend on doubles and the deadline for pairing up isn't until Wednesday at noon. Since there are so many doubles entries, I will need to wait until all that shakes out to start on the times. A couple of notes to help you plan/prepare for this weekend: 1. The deadline to sign up with a partner for doubles is tomorrow (Wednesday) at noon. Make sure you email me your partner's name before that time if you have not already been paired. You must play in the same age division for singles and doubles. You must have registered for doubles before the tournament deadline to play in the draw. You will see I have already paired some teams up in several of the draws myself - that is because there were only 2 players left in those doubles divisions so they automatically got paired. Any divisions with more than 2 unpaired players will remain unpaired until after the noon deadline. 2. Double check the tournament entries online and make sure if you are suppose to be in doubles that you are and if you have designated a partner, double check that I have paired you. 3. Prepare for Friday. The entry count is 107. I will have to use Friday. I have notes on people that emailed me regarding conflicts. I will keep that in mind, but it is very likely that play will begin on Friday for most players. Reminder - we cannot start before 5 pm on Friday. 4. Prepare for a secondary site. Due to the large entry count and large doubles entry count, there is a good chance I will need to use a secondary site. Most likely this will be the outdoor courts at Oak Tree Country Club. Sites will be designated on the draws once they are uploaded. You should check-in directly to the site you are scheduled to play at. You may play at more than one site in a day. The tournament headquarters will be at Kickingbird. All t-shirts and trophies will be picked up at Kickingbird. 5. Also, I am requesting a little grace on my response time. I had hoped to do the draws/times tonight but that isn't going to be feasible. I have a family member who is very ill and has been put on hospice. I have been traveling back and forth to DFW and plan to make another trip tomorrow. I promise you I am as anxious as you to get the times online, but I might in traveling situations this week where I do not have my laptop or wifi immediately available. I will answer all questions and get information to you as soon as possible. I have a great team helping me too! But your grace and patience is definitely appreciated. I appreciate all your entries and am looking forward to spending the weekend with you! If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at lisa.m.minihan@gmail.com.
