There will be a $10 late entry fee if you miss the deadline. There will only be a small window of time the day after the deadline where we will be able to accept late entries.

UTR will be the main factor for seeding in this event. Although other factors may come into play when deciding seeds. For doubles and 10 & under singles we will use the SCTA seeding list.

All matches at Lakewood & El Dorado Park Tennis Centers will be recorded in HD. This is a great service which can be used as a developmental tool to move your game ahead or simply as a historical archive of your matches. Before or after your match stop by the desk at El Dorado or the pro shop at Lakewood Tennis Center to order yours.

Doubles will start the first weekend. The doubles will be an 8 game pro set. Tie Break at 8 all (first to 7 by 2) IMPORTANT "PLAYERS MUST PLAY IN THE SAME AGE DIVISION AS THEIR SINGLES". (EXAMPLE = A PLAYER IN THE GIRLS 14 SINGLES CAN ONLY ENTER THE GIRLS 14 DOUBLES)
This is because of scheduling issues.

BG14-18 WILL PLAY A BEST OF THREE TIE-BREAK SETS WITH 12 POINT TIE BREAKER AT 6 GAMES ALL. All 10 & 12-year-old matches will consist of best of two sets with a "Deciding Match Tie-Break" (first to 10) played in lieu of a third set.

WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO SCHEDULE AROUND S.A.T. TESTING AS LONG AS YOU EMAIL BEFORE THE DEADLINE. THOSE PLAYERS WILL HAVE TO BE ABLE TO GET TO THE FIRST ROUND BY 3 PM AT THE LATEST. IF YOU DO NOT ASK FOR A LATE MATCH THEN YOU WILL BE SUBJECT TO PLAY EARLIER.

The Long Beach Tournament and all officials of this event would like to inform the players of our expectations of proper attire while competing in this tournament.
GIRLS: No sports bras or compression shorts are to be worn alone; midriff must be covered when arms are at rest, and spandex shorts must be covered by additional shorts or skirt.
BOYS: No cut off t-shirts, or cut off shorts. Sleeveless tennis shirts may be worn. No reference to drugs, violence, alcohol, or foul language may be depicted on player attire.

We are enforcing penalties for being late for your match. If you are 1 minute late = loss of toss & 1 game, 6 minutes late = loss of toss & 2 games, 11 minutes late = loss of toss & 3 games. After 16 minutes your match is subject to default. Please leave early and check road conditions. BE SURE TO TAKE THE TOURNAMENT PHONE NUMBER WITH YOU AND CALL IN CASE OF A PROBLEM ON THE WAY.

Refund of entry fee: In all tournaments except tournaments listed on the National Junior Tournament Schedule, the Tournament Committee shall refund a player’s entire entry fee if the player withdraws no later than seven days before the start date of the tournament no refund is required beginning six days before the start date of the tournament. The fee for electronic entries is not a considered a part of the entry fee and is non-refundable
