Player Check-in 2019 at NCHS, 4-7pm
Player check-in is upstairs at the main playing site, North Central High School (NCHS), from 4-7pm. Players can pick up their match cards, player gift voucher, as well as other important tournament information. If you miss check-in, you will need to get your match card at your first match and return to NCHS to get your player gift.

DOUBLES ENTRY- NEW 2019
New Procedure for Midwest Closed Doubles (PLEASE READ)This year for the BG16-18 Closed the doubles will be on a separate sanction form. This will enable the tournament director to use a later deadline so players can register once they know they are into the event for singles. Players must register for doubles on the second sanction form with a partner in order to be selected for the Closed. Both tournament IDs are below for player registration:

POINTS PER ROUND

MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE
Singles 128 FIC draw. The Singles Draw will play best 3 tiebreak sets. In the FIC draw we will not play out the finals.
Doubles 64 single elimination.The Doubles Draw will be an 8 game pro set with a 7 point tiebreak played at 8 game all up to the semis. The Doubles Semis and Finals will be two out of three sets with a 10 point match tiebreaker in lieu of the third set.

The main playing site and location of check in is the Barbara S. Wynne Tennis Center on the Campus of North Central High School.

TOURNAMENT FEES
1) If your credit card has been declined, please contact the tournament director immediately. You have until noon, Monday June 17th, to pay the entry fee. The tournament director has the option to withdraw you from the competitors list if you have not communicated with them. 2) No refunds after player selection.

The only playing site - 28 courts at the "Barbara S. Wynne Tennis Center" at North Central High School; 1805 E. 86th Street; Indianapolis, IN 46240.

* Those players who are not selected to play will be placed on a TOURNAMENT ALTERNATE LIST (NOT your district list) generated by the Midwest office using comparisons of all alternates from all districts that will be used to fill spots if there are withdrawals from the tournament.
|
* Alternates NOT SELECTED AT THE TIME OF THE DRAW will not have been charged on TennisLink and will need to provide a valid CC# by phone* if put into the draw due to a withdrawal.
|
*Stringing will be available at the Indianapolis Racquet Club 1 mile from the main site. Limited stringing will be provided for a charge.
Practice courts are available at Westlane Middle School 1301 W 73rd Street and Eastwood Middle School 4401 East 62nd Street throughout the tournament.

*Order of Play: Saturday - 1 round of singles and 2 rounds of doubles. Sunday - 1 round of main draw singles 1 round of Consolations and 2 rounds of doubles. Monday - 1 round of main draw singles and 2 rounds of Consolation and 1 round of doubles. Tuesday - 1 round of main draw and 2 rounds of Consolation and 1 round of doubles. Wednesday - 2 rounds of main draw and 2 rounds of Consolation and 1 round of doubles if necessary. Thursday - finals, 3rd place and 2 rounds of Consolation and 1 round of doubles if necessary

*Numerous playing sites on the North side of Indianapolis will be used. *The draw will be done by the Midwest office on Monday or Tuesday prior to the tournament after all administrative details are finalized) *Look on this site on Thursday after 6pm to get your specific site location after the draw is scheduled. See the "Future Match Info" report for an alpha list of players and their first match times and location. Draws will be posted by 12 noon Friday prior to the start of the tournament.

* Competitors and seeds will be selected using the most current points/round lists available after the deadline from the MW lists and any Midwest required UTR seeding requirements by the Midwest Office

Singles: depending on the size of the draws, matches can start as early as 4pm on Friday July 24th. All singles matches are two out of three tiebreak sets with a match tiebreak for the third set.
Doubles: doubles will start after singles on Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. No doubles will be played Friday evening.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, June 13, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
