Withdrawal Policy (READ CAREFULLY)
WITHDRAWALS AFTER SELECTION & DURING TOURNAMENT
A player shall not enter a tournament and then withdraw when the player discovers
that tough opponents have also entered. A player may withdraw from a match or
tournament only because of injury, illness, or personal circumstance; written verification must be provided.
A player who cannot play a match shall notify the Referee in writing (NO
PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED) immediately so that the opponent may be
notified at once and saved a trip. A
player who withdraws from a tournament is not entitled to the return of the
entry fee unless the player withdrew prior to the published refund deadline
date.

Welcome!
This is a Georgia State Championship, an advanced-level
tournament sanctioned by USTA Georgia as a Level 2 (Southern Level 4 points). Junior suspension point system in effect. Registration
must be completed online. In the future, you can jump straight to this

Boys and Girls registered for 12 and under division will play on a full court with yellow balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for green balls in Youth
Progression will play on a full court with green dot balls.
Boys and Girls 10 and under that are eligible for orange balls or new to Youth Progression will
play on a 60’ court with orange balls. Orange-level players will receive GA Level 4 points for standing purposes.
USTA Georgia tournaments do not offer Orange Level 2
divisions. All players that register for Orange 2 will be automatically moved
to Orange 1 before the draws are posted.
Youth Progression
(for children ages 7-10)
If this is your child’s first time playing a tournament,
please email Eva Marie McCravy (mccravy@ustageorgia.com) or Susan Pierce (pierce@ustageorgia.com)
to activate their USTA number in the Youth Progression program. For more
information about Youth Progression, visit our webpage.
Player selection Selection will be made using GA standings. Seeding will be done using Southern standings.
Late Entrants
USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into
all USTA GA tournaments in the event that the draw is not full, provided that
such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late
entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any
circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament
Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration.
Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late
entries.
Draws
Draws will be published by Thursday at 5 pm. It is your
responsibility to check this tournament webpage for the players’ draws, match
times and any other updates.
Format
Doubles play will
start the first day of the tournament. CONSOLATION - FIC Singles & 3/4
Playoffs.
JR. SUSPENSION
POINT SYSTEM IN EFFECT. T-shirts. Player's lunch. Scoring format for BG 18-12:
Singles: Main draw (2 out of 3 sets with a 10 point match tiebreaker),
Consolations - 2 out of 3 sets with 3rd set match tiebreaker

No smart watches or phones are allowed on court. If you are unsure about what is allowed and what is not, please check with the official.

Doubles Pairing
If you are looking for a partner, please contact the tournament director. any player looking for partner will be randomly placed with another player who is also looking for a partner. The deadline to submit your doubles pairings is Wednesday, June 20th at noon. * Please note - both partners must confirm the partnership before we can pair them.

Tournament Check-In
Tournament player check-in will be Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Cooper creek Tennis Center in the CORTA hospitality room. The CORTA hospitality room is located downstairs in the new two-story building at the Judy and Roger Pearce Tennis Complex. You will see this on your left as you enter Cooper Creek Park.

Scoring Format
12U - 18U Scoring Format:Singles: Best 2 out of 3 sets, with a ten (10) point "match" tie-break played in lieu of a third set. Doubles: 6 games set with ad scoring 10U Scoring Format: Singles: Best 2 out of 3 short games sets with a tie-break played at 4-all and a 7 point tie-break played in lieu of a third set. Doubles: 6 games set

Refund Policy
No refunds for will be issued after the close of entries, players should expect to forfeit the entry fee, regardless of circumstances.
