Icy Hot Fall Indoor Level 2 Championships BG 12-18

The draws and seeds will be posted Monday November 19, at 3 pm est. Seeds will be based on the Ranking list posted Tuesday (11/13). Wednesday's match schedule will be posted by 4 pm est. THURSDAY'S SCHEDULE WILL BE POSTED (11/20) by 3 pm. These draws will be subject to change due to withdrawing players and seeds. It will be the PLAYERS RESPONSIBILITY to know these changes. Any late entry after the draws are made will go on an alternate list.

For the Icy Hot Fall Indoor Level 2 Championships. In the divisions of BG(14, 16, 18)s, the draws will be limited to 64. In the BG(12)s, the draws will be limited to 48. In the BG(10)(Greenball), the draws will be limited to 32. All draws will have a full feed in consolation through the Round of 16, a 3rd/4th playoff, and a 7th/8th playoff. All main draw matches in BG(14, 16, 18)s are best 2 out of 3 sets. Their consolation matches will use a (10 point) Match Tie Break to decide a 3rd set. The BG(12)s will use a (10 point) Match Tie Break to decide a 3rd set in all Main draw and Consolation matches. The BG(10)s will play 2 Short Sets with a (7 point) Tie Break as a 3rd set if needed. A Short Set is "The first player who wins 4 games wins the set, provided there is a margin of 2 games over the opponent. If the score reaches 4 games all, a Tie Break game shall be played." Selections for this event will consider the Top players in the lower age division.

We are now taking late entries for unfilled draws. Late entries for filled draws will go on the Alternate list.

NO REFUND for any withdrawals (including special circumstances) after Wednesday, November 14, 5.00 pm EST. Also, seeds will not be changed for any withdrawals after 6 am (11/20), and Players will not be moved unless a double bye is created.

Players are allowed to enter two divisions in Southern Levels 1A, 2, and 3 tournaments.
#1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected in the older age division. They would be removed from the other age division. #2. Players not selected to either division would remain on the alternates lists for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in from the alternates list. They would be removed from the alternates list in the other division. #3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected. #4. ONCE A PLAYER IS SELECTED FOR ANY ONE DIVISION NO CHANGES CAN BE MADE.

This Tournament is singles only !

The 10 & U division is a GREEN BALL event.

MATCH PLAY BEGINS WEDNESDAY AT 8 AM. Players may check in Tuesday evening from 5-9 pm (11/20). Please have your MEDICAL RELEASE FORM ready at check in. Also, please make sure your BIRTH CERTIFICATE or GREEN CARD is on file at the Southern office. Players who can not make it Tuesday evening, or play their first match at an alternate site, or don't play until Thursday, please have your medical release form with you, then you may check in when you get back to the main site.

Practice courts are available at the LOUISVILLE INDOOR RACQUET CLUB by reservation (502)426-2454 before match play starting Wednesday morning (11/21). The rate for all practice courts is $10/half hour per court ( +TAX ). All Practice Courts must be pre paid. There will be plenty of free outdoor hard courts available at Tom Sawyer State Park which is 5 minutes away from main site.

Practice courts are available at The Tennis Club at Springhurst during the tournament. We have some regular courts and our multi sport courts available for practice. The multi sport court is a regulation tennis court on a Sport Court surface. It is a good place to hit some balls to get warmed up. Price is $30 per hour ( + tax ) for regular court and $25 ( + tax ) for multi sport courts. First come first served. Call (502)412-2950 to reserve.
