Berkeley 10U Orange Ball Tournament

The draws had to be redone because two of the gril players were reclassified as Green ball players. They new draws will be posted by end of day.

(1) Come 15 minutes before your scheduled match time.
(2) After your match, report your match result (win or lose).
(3) Ask for your next match time.

(1) Single and doubles events are required.
(2) No-ad scoring will be used.
(3) Players must use a racquet that is 23" to 25" in length.
(4) Single Match Format: The singles match format shall be a short set whereby the first player to win 4 games wins the set.
(5) Doubles Match Format: The doubles match format shall be one 10-Point Match Tiebreak.

Directions: From 580 take the Ashby Street exit. Go up Ashby Street, cross San Pablo Ave, make a left at the light on Mabel Street, tennis courts are right in front of you. For directions, please use Google Maps

The following instructions are to be used after the posting of the draws on Wednesday morning after registration closes. No emails will be sent with your match time and location. So, the instructions below will be very, very helpful:
(1) To the right of the IMPORTANT INFORMATION BUTTON, there is a new DRAWS BUTTON
(2) Click on the DRAWS BUTTON
(3) Select the event the player is registered to: orange ball
(4) Find the players name and follow the line to the right
(5) This will show you the first match, with a date/time

(1) Until the closing of the registration, you can withdraw yourself online with your confirmation number.
(2) After closing of the registration, and until the posting of the draws, please submit any withdrawal in writing by emailing BOTH Mary Bedford, TD at marybedford@att.net and Cheri King, Referee at cheri121@aol.com.
(3) After the posting of the draws, FIRST call Mary Bedford at 510-459-6015 and Cheri King at 510-384-7255 and then email BOTH Mary Bedford and Cheri King.

NorCal encourages all young players to get involved in fun and enjoyable competition and to participate in RED, ORANGE, and GREEN competitions: play days, junior team tennis, and junior tournaments. These activities help players develop their skills and to find their right level of play.

To enter and play in a 10 and Under and a 12-and-Under Tournament, players must:
(1) Meet age eligibility requirements for the 10-and-Under and 12-and-Under division.

The rest period may be less than 30 minutes.

Players will receive medals from 1st to 4th places.

Water and healthy snaks.
