The following divisions will play their 2nd round (Quarters) of doubles after Singles on Sunday.

Sunday Doubles Times will be available by 9 pm tonight. Doubles Play will be after singles.

Reminder that you can report directly to your match site on Saturday. You do NOT have to go to the main site first. You may get your player packet anytime during the tournament.


The player party will go from 5:30 - 7 pm on Saturday at Cary Tennis Park. Food will be for players and those traveling with the players!

The August 31st National Seeding List was used for seeding this tournament.

Any onsite alternates must report to the locations listed below by 8:15 am on Saturday and check in with the tournament desk.. Onsite alternates will be ordered by the order on alternate’s list. You must be within 15 minutes of the site if called.

This event will be running concurrently with a USTA Men's Challenger event, The Atlantic Tire Championships (ATC). The 2017 Atlantic Tire Championships Featured 16 professionals that competed in the US Open Tennis Championships including young rising stars such as Mackenzie McDonald Tommy Paul, Michael Mmoh and Ernesto Escobedo.
Facility Access and Player Buffet
Cary Tennis Championships participants and family members over the age of 12, will receive facility passes at the ticket gate. The passes will be available beginning Friday afternoon at 4 pm. The passes will be needed to enter the facility and attend the Saturday evening player buffet, which will begin at 5:30 pm. Players are also invited to the ATC Saturday evening featured qualifying match.
Tournament Check-In
Players may check in for the tournament, beginning Saturday morning at 7:30 am, in the Cary Tennis Park covered court facility (don’t forget your event pass to access the facility). Players DO NOT have to check in at the Cary Tennis Park before their first match, you may go directly to your match site. Check in will run throughout the weekend.

This event will use college SCORING formats.
BG12s Singles Division: 2 tie-break sets with a match tie break at one set all using no ad scoring.
BG14s-18s Singles Division: Main Draw- 2 out of 3 sets using no ad scoring. Consolation- 2 tie-break sets with a match tie break at one set all using no ad scoring.
Doubles Divisions- One set to 6, with a tiebreak at 6-all using no ad scoring



Boys will use Wilson Extra Duty Ball
Girls will use Wilson Regular Duty Ball

Doubles draws will only consist of 16 teams. Team selection criteria will be done in the order below.
1. Teams consisting of both players selected for singles.
2. Teams consisting of one player selected for singles and one player on alternate list. Order will be chosen by best combined individual doubles ranking of both players.
3. Teams consisting of both two alternates. Order will be chosen by best combined individual doubles ranking of both players.

The link below list all the addresses of public courts in the area. Keep in mind that these courts are first come first serve and may be hosting league matches.
Warm-up courts at tournament sites will be available before play begins, but will not have warm-up courts once play starts.

Friday, September 7th, Warm-up at CTP
We will have a block of courts reserved for those players participating in the tournament to practice during the day on Friday. These are first come, first serve. We will not be booking individual courts.


Saturday, Sunday, and Monday Morning warm-up
Courts will be available for warm-up at the sites before play starts in the morning. more info

Players have been selected base on the most current (August 15th), National Combined Standing list.
If you received an email that your credit card did not go through, we will contact you for payment. You do NOT need to call.

Alternates
Alternates by event list has been published. Please see link above labeled Events - Alternates by Event. This list will be updated as needed.
Alternates order based on the above list as well, except for those who asked to enter after the registration deadline. They have been placed at the bottom of the alternate list based on order we received the emails.


Doubles Pairings
Doubles pairings will be updated by Monday afternoon.

Players are accepted into a USTA National Level 3 Tournament using the most recently published National Standings List as of the date entries close.


Alternates List order will be published by Saturday, August 18th, by noon
*All of those players asking to register late are placed at the bottom of the alternate list for that division.

If you were not selected for singles, then we did not select you for doubles. If you would still like to play doubles please email the tournament director the division and partner. If there is room in the doubles draw after the doubles deadline on Friday, August 24th, we will enter you and your partner.
The doubles only fee is $25 and will be charged if selected.

SINGLES: 32 Player Draw; Feed in consolation through the round of 16. Quarter Final losers will be fed into a separate consolation draw. 3/4 Play-off
DOUBLES:16 Teams; Single elimination.
