Thank you for playing. We are sorry that the rain made the completion of this tournament impossible.

Do not drive in! It is raining still and we will not be able to get the courts dry for play today. At noon, we can make an official announcement that the tournament is cancelled, and will do so.

We are soaked! Matches are delayed until noon tomorrow (4-hour delay, using Sunday's schedule still). There is a very low probability that any tennis will happen tomorrow. There is a 100% chance of rain forecast for 3 AM going through the entire day on Monday. We will announce official cancellation at noon.

Play is currently suspended for rain.

Still on for noon start with a 4-hour delay from your posted match times. PLEASE NOTE - matches scheduled at 4 PM (currently an 8 PM start with delay) will play today, weather permitting. ALL MATCHES scheduled AFTER 4 PM will be postponed until Monday, again, weather permitting.

At this time, we cannot change from our 4-hour delay. The courts are drying and it is not raining. I will try to post if there is any change in the weather for the worse, but unless it rains, we are getting ready to play at noon with the 4-hour delay in place. If something changes, I will update as soon as I can.

Rain has come. We will have a four-hour delay tomorrow. Matches that start at 8 AM will have a start time now of 12 noon.
We will update the site for any change around 10 AM tomorrow.

Rain is predicted tonight. Please note that if it rains, we will have to delay the morning start time again. This update will be posted if there is any rain tonight as soon as we get it.
We have had some withdrawals and other changes to the draws. PLEASE check your draws and schedules.

The rain has stopped and squeegeeing/drying of the courts has started. At this time we are planning for a noon start as previously mentioned. The 2-hour delay at this time is still in effect with that noon start time for the previously scheduled 10 AM match start times.

The next update will be around 10 AM. We are doing our best. We hope the weather holds, and that is what we are working on.

The weather has taken a turn for the worse over the night and in the morning. Start times for matches will be delayed by 2 hours. So if your posted start time is 10 AM on the new schedule, your new start time is now 12 noon. Please check your draws and schedules.

Note the start times for your matches. Our hope is to play two rounds of main draw on Saturday, if at all possible. Format is now best of two sets, and if needed, a 10-point Match Tiebreak in lieu of the third set for all matches.

Currently, draws are not visible because we are re-working the schedule due to inclement weather. Please note the following:

THE FORMAT FOR ALL MATCHES WILL BE TWO SETS AND A 10-POINT MATCH TIEBREAK IF NEEDED IN LIEU OF THE THIRD SET.
ONLY MAIN DRAW MATCHES WILL PLAY ON SATURDAY. CONSOLATION MATCHES WILL BE DELAYED UNTIL SUNDAY, WEATHER PERMITTING.

The draws will be re-posted when this modification is completed. Further adjustments will be made by web posting. Please check your schedule often.

All players are encouraged to check the tournament website often. Tomorrow (Friday, Feb. 17th) we will be posting information regarding possible changes to the schedule because of inclement weather. The first posting will occur on Friday evening.

Please be aware that we cannot control the weather. The situation may be quite fluid and changeable. We will always do our best to keep you informed as best we can. We cannot play unless the courts are safe for play, and wet courts are not safe.

Postings will continue to occur throughout the tournament. Check the tournament website often - before you go to bed at night and again when you wake up and before you leave to come to the tournament to be safe.

Also check your draws often for changes due to withdrawals or other issues.

Players please check your draw and schedule often. Changes in the draw or schedule will be posted quickly, and we will also try to notify affected players and alternates of any changes as we learn of them. Inclement weather changes will be posted on the tournament page and updated as soon as we can do so.

This tournament will be held over three days, February 18-20. The singles draw will be limited to the top 32 players selected from the most recently published Combined Sectional Final Ranking list at the time of entry closure. A full Feed-In Consolation will be played through the round of 16 with playoffs for third/fourth and fifth/sixth place.

Formats of Play:
BG14-18 - All Main Draw matches and 3/4 Place Playoff Matches will be the best of three tiebreak sets. All FIC matches and 5/6 playoff matches will use a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of the full third set.
BG12 - All matches will use a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of the third set.

Alternates will be ordered by the same selection list and will be offered placement into the singles main draw for withdrawals.

Please note that late entries will NOT be accepted. Please enter on time if you wish to play.

Practice courts may be available at Ronald Feist Park, Oakmont High School, Del Oro High School, and other public park courts in the area.

Please note that NorCal has implemented a Zero-Tolerance Policy for Junior Tournaments. Players should be familiar with the Point Penalty System. Spectators should be aware that unsportsmanlike behavior by a spectator could result in dismissal from the site and possible assessment of penalties to your player.
