SUNDAY WEATHER UPDATE - POSTED AT 7:30 A.M.
There were puddles and leaves on the court so we are doing work on the courts now. It's windy so we should be good. However, we are posting a 30-minute delay on all matches at GACS and LiFE. I will update you again at 8:00 a.m. to let you know how the courts are doing. For example, If you were scheduled at 9:00 a.m., you now play at 9:30 a.m. I would like everybody to plan on showing up 30 minutes prior to your posted time with the 30-minute delay. By doing that, we may be able to get back on the original schedule by the afternoon.

Why You Should Play TennisRecruiting.net Showcase Tournaments--Posted 9-21
** According to USTA, every season more than 20,000 players compete on intercollegiate teams. Each year more than 5,000 new recruits are needed to fill college tennis rosters. ** The Tennis Recruiting Network (TRN) understands college tennis. Players may submit biographical data and college preferences to complete their profile. College coaches combine this information with TRN’s unique “_ Star” and “Blue Chip” designations and TRN Recruiting lists to locate potential recruits. ** TRN’s ordered college recruiting lists are based on graduation year, rather than two-year groupings based on birth date. ** TRN’s rankings incorporate a quality of opponent component that makes them more predictive of a player’s current skill level than does a pure point acquisition system. ** It is never too soon to think about college, but it can be TOO LATE. So, the sooner you get started, the greater the chance that you won’t be overlooked by the college of your choice.
