competitive tennis. If you have any questions, please feel free to
email us at Administration@AsAndAces.org.

For parents new to tournaments
After you sign up for the tournament, your credit card will not be
charged until after the deadline for everyone to register for the
tournament closes. For this tournament, Monday, September 21, 2015
is the deadline (1 minute before midnight) and the entries will be
processed on Tuesday, which is when your credit card will be
charged.
Be prepared to play all weekend. With unpredictable weather,
matches may have to be shortened, moved, etc., to adjust for such
conditions. These tournaments are for the children, and we will do
everything we can to help you with anything you do not know or need
help with. Feel free to email Administration@AsAndAces.org with any
questions before the tournament starts.
Please have your child check in at the tournament desk at least
30 minutes prior to your child's first scheduled match time. If
courts are open, we will put your child's match on sooner and help
keep the tournament on schedule. Please keep in mind that there is
a 15 minute default period under USTA rules. A player who does not
check in by the time he/she is scheduled to play, will be put on
the clock for being late and penalized according to the rules in
relation to the untimeliness. After 15 minutes, the match is then
defaulted and your child will not get to play the match. This is
why it is so important to check in early and plan to arrive early
in case there is traffic or an accident or anything that can delay
you arriving early/on-time.
Scoring
Boys and Girls 12s-18s singles divisions will play 2 out of 3 full
sets in the main draw, but a 3rd set tiebreaker to 10 winning by 2
for the consolation rounds.
Boys and Girls 10s singles division will play sets to 4 with a
7-point tiebreaker at 4-4. The sets will use no ad scoring. If they
split sets, there is a 7-point tiebreaker played in place of the
third set. NO coaching allowed before the 3rd set tiebreaker.
Boys and Girls 12s-18s doubles will play an 8-game pro-set.
Boys and Girls 10s doubles will play a 6-game pro-set.
Note: With unpredictable weather, the scoring format may have to be
shortened/modified.
