PRACTICE / WARM-UP COURTS
Clay Courts - there will be 3 courts available during the tournament at Cooper Creek Tennis Center. The Country Club of Columbus has 10 clay courts available for $10.00/court. Please call 706-323-9116 to reserve a court. The address is 2610 Cherokee Ave, Columbus, GA 31906.
Hard Courts - there are courts available at Columbus State University. The address is 4225 University Ave, Columbus, GA 31907. There are unlocked public courts available on a first come
first serve basis. The locked varsity courts at Columbus State University are not for
public use. If you make the decision to climb the fence to enter
the locked varsity courts campus security will be called.

FIRST MATCH TIMES POSTED
First match times are now posted. Doubles will be played after singles matches are completed on Saturday & Sunday. If you do not check in Friday evening report to tournament 1 hr before match time. If you
check in on Friday, report 30 minutes prior to your
match time on Saturday.

PLAYING SITES
Matches will be held at Cooper Creek Tennis Center
Cooper Creek Tennis Center (Main Site) is located at 5089 Cooper Creek Parkway, Columbus, Georgia 31909. Cooper Creek Tennis Center is a public facility with a two-story clubhouse overlooking 30 newly resurfaced clay courts. There are walking and bike paths on site. Directions to Cooper Creek Tennis Center from I-185: Take I-185 S to Exit 7 (Manchester Expressway). Turn east onto Manchester Expressway. Travel approximately 2 miles to the Warm Springs Road Connector. Travel up the exit ramp and turn right. The entrance to Cooper Creek Park is directly ahead. The clubhouse is a two-story building located on the right as you enter the park. Tournament check-in desk will be on the left side of the road at the annex building.

Tentative Schedule
Based on 128 draw size in Singles and 64 draw size for Doubles. Saturday – 1 round Doubles, 2 rounds Main draw singles, 1 round Consolation. Sunday – 2 round Doubles, 2 rounds Consolation singles, 2 rounds Main draw singles. Monday – QF Doubles, 2 rounds Consolation singles, 2 rounds Main draw singles, SF Doubles. Tuesday – F and 3/4 playoff Doubles, 2 rounds Consolation singles, F and 3/4 playoff Main draw singles. Please note that the Consolation will not be completed. This schedule is subject to change with inclement weather. The quarterfinal losers automatically go into their own back draw. The four losers will play and then the two winners for 5/6 place. The 7/8 place will not playoff.

Process When Singles Registration Closes
Singles registration closes Sunday, August 21, 2016 11:59 PM (Eastern Time)
. After registration closes ... To enter send email to: cissy@corta.org Late entries will be processed on a first come - first serve basis. Late entries that effect the seeding are NOT allowed. Late entries will be taken until 12:00 midnight, Thursday Aug. 25th. Please include the player's name and usta# with request. Please call the CORTA office at 706-317-4136 to give payment information.

Entering Two Divisions:
Players are allowed to enter two divisions in Southern Levels 1A, 2, and 3 tournaments. #1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected in the older age division. They would be removed from the other age division. #2. Players not selected to either division would remain on the alternates lists for both division but would be obligated to play the division they first get in from the alternates list. They would be removed from the Alternates list in the other division. #3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected. #4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.

Seeding Information
In an effort to provide greater transparency and understanding of how USTA Southern seeds will be determined for USTA Southern L 1, 1A and 2 events, FAC (Friend at Court) method II.A.4.b., which provides for a computerized system of rankings or standings. The Junior Competition Committee approved the below chart that the Tournament Seeding Committees, with assistance from the USTA Southern staff, shall utilize to determine seeds.

Hospitality
Hospitality (trail mix, bananas, gatorade, ice, etc) will be available. The hospitality tent is located at Cooper Creek Tennis Center.

Format
128 draw for both single divisions. FIC through the RD of 16 with Quarterfinal playoff. In 1A Championships, the quarterfinalist losers automatically go into their own back draw. The four losers will play and then the two winners for 5th & 6th place. The 7th & 8th place do not play. Doubles divisions consist of 64 teams. Single elimination for doubles draw. 8 game pro set will be played with a tie break at 8 games all. A 3/4 playoff shall be played in both singles and doubles.

Entry into Tournament
This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

LATE ENTRANTS - USTA Georgia will allow late entrants to be accepted into all USTA GA tournaments, Levels 1-5, in the event that the draw is not full, provided that such late entrants do not affect the seeding and further provided that late entrants do not prevent timely entrants to be accepted into the draw under any circumstances. Accepting late entrants is at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. Seeds must be posted by 12 noon following close of registration. Once draws are posted, the tournament is closed and can no longer accept late entries.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to specified residents only. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, August 21, 2016 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
