The draws were made and there were players playing from the same district against each other on the first round. That needed to be changed and ALL the draws needed to be re-done. Please check your match times again for all the singles draws

The PARENT FORM and JUNIOR MEDICAL RELEASE FORM must be read and understood by the parent and the player. This form MUST be presented fully completed at the first match.

Selections are based on the top 56 (Southern Standing List) from the age group of the event and up to 8 from the lower age group who do not get in the first 56 and who are in the top 80 in the lower age group. The Southern Standing List at the time of selection is the relevant one.

All players must have a Birth Certificate on file in the Southern Office for proof of US citizenship. Green cards will be accepted, but passports will not be accepted.

Contact e-mails and phone numbers would be helpful. You can e-mail the information. In the subject line, indicate age group and gender.;;;for example, ALTERNATE G16. Late entrants are placed after all on-time entrants. The list will be updated daily.
REMEMBER::Alternates who remain on this list AND enter a concurrent tournament will be subject to penalty points.
WITHDRAWALS::Withdraw via e-mail. The subject line must state::"Alternate Withdrawal" with age group included

There will be NO REFUNDS if tournament is CANCELED due to extreme weather conditions.
Once the deadline for withdrawing and receiving a refund is past (Sunday, March 29 at 6 am) there will be no refunds.
This RULE is in the Friend at court.

Check in is MANDATORY for all players.
We will have the check in from 3-7 pm at SPA LES JARDINS TENNIS CENTER.
You MUST check in before you play your first match for SINGLES or DOUBLES.
If you are not playing DOUBLES at this tennis center, you still need to check in there before your first MATCH is played.

If you are not able to be there to check in on Friday evening, PLEASE READ BELOW:
PRINT out a Medical Release Form at home and have it already filled out and ready to turn in on Saturday morning at the check in desk at SPA LES JARDINS TENNIS CENTER before going to your first match to your designated location.
You can download the form from the USTA website.
YOU MUST complete that step in order to be able to play.

3/24 TUES:Doubles entries OPEN. YOU MUST play doubles in the same division as your singles event.
3/26 THURS: We will start contacting Alternates using the email address provided at registration for any open spots in the main draw. You will have 24 hours to respond.
3/27 FRI:Doubles entries CLOSE at 11:59 pm CST
3/28 SAT: LAST DAY to withdraw and be able to receive a refund.
3/30 MON: Seeds will be posted by 9 pm CST
4/2 THURS: First Round Matches will be posted by 9 pm CST
4/3 FRI: at 9 am CST we will Stop calling alternates. Anyone that needs to pull out of the tournament will be replaced by an on-site alternate.
4/3 FRI: MANDATORY REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 3 PM CST at SPA LES JARDINS TENNIS CENTER. Draws will be posted at this time.
4/3 FRI: DOUBLES plays begins at 5 pm CST. 2-3 Rounds of Doubles will be played
4/4 SAT: SINGLES begins at 8 am CST, 2 Rounds of Main Draw and 1 Round feed in. 1 and possibly 2 Rounds of DOUBLES to be played as well.
4/5 SUN: SINGLES play continues, 3 Rounds of feed in and 2 Rounds of Main Draw. DOUBLES Draws (including 3-4 playoffs) will FINISH today.
4/6 MON: SINGLES play concludes. 2 Rounds of Main Draw. Quarter Final losers play off for 5th and 6th place. Feed in Draws DO NOT PLAY on Monday

If weather conditions are bad, you need to contact your tournament desk phone at the site that you will be playing.

Traffic in the city of Lafayette is very hectic on Friday afternoons. The Interstate 10 will be very busy too.
Please give yourself enough time to move around the city to be on time for the check in or doubles matches.

FIRST ROUND MATCHES will be posted on Thursday 4/2/15 by 12 pm CST.
The "Future Match Info Report" will show your division, match time and location for you to see and check.

SINGLES:
ALL Main Draw matches will be 2 out of 3 tiebreak sets.

ALL CONSOLATION matches will be the best 2 out of 3 sets, with a match tiebreak ( 10-point tiebreak)in lieu of the third set. The player must win by 2.
ALL SINGLES divisions will be a full feed in consolation through the round of 16
There will be a 3rd and 4th playoff in the main draw for singles and doubles

DOUBLES:
Will play an 8 games pro set, with a 7 point tiebreak in case they games are tied at 8 all.

FRIDAY: 2, possibly 3 Rounds of doubles will be played
SATURDAY: 2 Main draw Rounds, 1 consolation Round, 1 or 2 doubles rounds
SUNDAY: 2 Main draw Rounds, 3 consolation Rounds, Finals, and 3-4 playoff for doubles if not finished on Saturday
MONDAY: 2 Main draw Rounds, Losers from quarter finals will play 2 Rounds for 5th and 6th place. Consolation matches left.
If weather delays rounds being played throughout the weekend, the Consolation Rounds Will finish on Monday.
Please remember, Nothing cancels, unless it ALL cancels.

SINGLES:
Draws will have 64 players with a Full Feed in through the Quarter Finals and 3/4 playoff match.

DOUBLES:
It will consist of a 32 single elimination Draw.

Note: IN the event of bad weather during the weekend, match format is subject to change.

- 64 Draw in Singles with Full Feed in through the end of play on Sunday
- ALL Main Draw Singles matches will be the best of three tiebreak sets (new balls will be provided for the third set).
- Main Draw Singles matches will play 2 rounds on Saturday, 2 Rounds on Sunday and Semi Finals and Finals on Monday.
- Losers in quarterfinals of Main Draw will play in a separate Draw for 5th and 6th place, the 2 Rounds on Monday. There is NO MATCH for 7th and 8th place.
- ALL Consolation matches will be two tiebreak sets with a match tiebreak (10 points) in lieu of a third set.
- Consolation matches play 1 Round on Saturday and 3 Rounds on Sunday
- Consolation Matches will finish on Sunday
- Consolation Draws will play 3 matches on Sunday and NO MATCHES ON MONDAY

When using a 10 point tiebreak in lieu of a third set, there will be a mandatory 3 minute break.
Coaching will be allowed on court or at a designed location near the court.
There will be NO COACHING during toilet breaks.
They will not receive new balls for the third set tiebreak.

The official ball for the tournament is DUNLOP

It is your responsibility to notify us your most current information by filling out the proper information at registration.
We will call the phone numbers or use the emails given to us in tennislink to notify you of an opening on the draw.
We will communicate via email until the tournament start is close, then we will call you to one of the phone numbers provided.

Ordered Alternate List:
This will be the order in how the alternates will be placed on the draw. This report is generated by the most recent Southern Standings List at the time of the deadline of registration. This report will be posted after the selection process has been completed.

On-Site Alternates:
You need to report on site for your division 30 minutes prior to the start of the first match for that division, and be present during ALL the first round matches of that division.
If there are more than one alternate on-site, we will go by order of the Ordered Alternate List to make the selection.
You must notify the desk that you are there in order for us to know to put you in the draw if a spot opens. If you are not present, you will not play. So it is very important to remain on-site until ALL the first round matches have started if you want to have a chance to play.

*****IMPORTANT NOTICE:
It is your duty to notify us once you have been placed on the alternate list, that there is NO WAY that you can participate in the tournament should a spot open for you to play.
If your name is in the alternate list, you are implying that YOU CAN PLAY in the tournament. We completely understand that you may not be able to drop everything and change your plans at the last minute, if that is the case, please be courteous and email us ASAP at jwahlborg1@gmail.com to remove you from the alternate list.
We will be checking those email even until the night before of the start of the tournament.

If you are signed up to play doubles, you will play on Friday evening.
Two or Three Rounds will be played on Friday night, and one round will be played on Saturday morning.

Due to the large number of withdraws in the last few hours, we are forced to change the draw format from 64 players to 32 players.
We will post the times very late tonight due to the required change.
