DOUBLES ENTRY, DOUBLES FORMAT and Deadline.*** DOUBLES WILL BE limited to a 64 team DRAW. *** Doubles will play 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 point Match Tiebreaker for the 3rd set. *** DOUBLES DEADLINE is: THURSDAY, JUNE 18 at 12 noon (INDIANAPOLIS.TIME). If both players do not entered with their partner online before the singles deadline, BOTH players MUST email me (swakefield.indy@comcast.net) with your teams names, gender, age division, and cell phone # to be entered into the doubles draw. ***PLAYERS wishing to be "assigned" a partner in the same doubles division as your singles entry MUST EMAIL swakefield.indy@comcast.net with their name, gender, age division, cell phone and the phrase below:
"PLEASE ASSIGN A PARTNER, IF AVAILABLE. I WILL PLAY WITH THE ASSIGNED PARTNER UNDER PENALTY OF SUSPENSION POINTS"

If you and your partner do not complete a doubles entry with your singles entry before the singles deadline or you do not send me an email including all requested information above (name, gender, age division, cell phone) OR you do not send an email using " the phrase above" YOUR TEAM WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE DOUBLES DRAW.

Due to other planned large sporting events in Indianapolis' far north side hotel space close to the main site are very limited. Hotels may be available on the northwest side of Indy or the east side of Indy. Downtown hotels would be a last resort. No official host hotels were available for the Closed on the dates June 19-24.

Warm-up, practice courts are available before 8am each morning at all sites and at Eastwood Middle School 4401 E 62nd St. 46220 during the entire tournament and all day Saturday and Sunday and after 2pm each day at Westlane Mddle Schools 1301 W 73rd Street, 46260.
Warm up courts will not be available on Friday June 19 at the main site (North Central HS courts) until 6:00 pm due to the College Showcase event at the Tennis Center at NCHS tennis courts..

ONCE THE SELECTIONS HAVE BEEN MADE THE TOP 10 ALTERNATES IN EACH AGE GROUP WILL BE CONSIDERED. IF ANYONE DROPS OUT OF THE EVENT. I WILL UPDATE THE LIST WHEN I HAVE A WITHDRAWAL UP UNTIL FRIDAY AT 12:00 pm EST. AFTER THAT I WILL USE THOSE IN THE TOP 10 THAT CHOOSE TO BE AN ON-SITE ALTERNATE.

The top eight (8) seeds will be determined using UTR (Universal Tennis Rating). The remaining 24 seeds will be determined from the most recent USTA/Midwest Standings list. more info

The Singles Main Draw and Consolation will play 2 out of 3 tiebreak sets. Doubles will play 2 out of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set.

All players must wear appropriate tennis attire. Shirts must be worn. No shirts, or hats with referenced to drugs, alcohol, tobacco products or sexual or bodily functions. No cut off or torn shirtsleeves and/or shorts are allowed. The bottom of the shirt must meet the top of the shorts or skirt when arms are at rest throughout the entire match.


Boy's -No tank tops.

Girls - No see through panels, No backless tops with under ware showing. No spaghetti strap tops or tube tops. NO TANK TOPS WITH CUT OUT SIDES WILL BE WORN AT THE MIDWEST CLOSED.

FIRST ROUND SINGLES MATCH TIMES: WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE TOURNAMENT WEBSITE: WEDNESDAY, June 17 after 6pm. LOOK UNDER TOURNAMENT REPORTS WHICH IS RIGHT UNDER THE IMPORTANT INFO on this TOURNAMENT WEBSITE. Draws will be posted on Friday after 4pm. To receive your first match time and site click on the Future Match Report in blue print under tournament reports. This will also show you your first singles time for Saturday and site as well as your win/loss times for Sunday. DOUBLES TIMES and site of play will be given out by your site director after your singles play on Saturday. REMEMBER ONLY YOUR FIRST MATCH TIMES ARE SET. WHEN YOU FINISH YOUR FIRST MATCH YOU WILL RECEIVE A MATCH CARD WHICH YOU WILL USE THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT FOR NEXT MATCH TIMES. EXCEPT FOR FIRST ROUND MATCH TIMES, THE TIMES YOU SEE ON THE DRAW SHEETS ARE ONLY TENTATIVE AND COULD CHANGE.

If you do not provide an email address and/or cell number(s) when you register for this tournament, then we will not be able to notify you about any possible changes in the tournament.

Trophies will be given to the following players: Champion, Finalist, 3rd & 4th place, and FIC Semi-Finalists. In addition, a Sportsmanship trophy will be awarded in each age division.

The USTA/Midwest Section Closed Junior Championships, the district qualifiers, the USTA/Midwest Section Designated Tournaments and USTA/Midwest Section Junior Davis and Wightman Cup events are open to citizens of the US, permanent resident aliens in possession of a valid alien registration card, individuals who are applicants for adjustment to lawful permanent resident status and who can present a USCIS receipt for a pending unadjudicated form I-485, aliens who have resided continuously in the US for more than one year and who are members of families of persons in the diplomatic or consular corps and aliens who have been granted Refugee Status, Asylee Status or Temporary Protected Status.
