Important Message !!
Players playing at the Laredo Community College (LCC ) site , please get to the courts at least 30 minutes before your 8 o'clock matches. There will be a high school cross country race in the tennis facilities area and some congestion is anticipated. Parking will be challenging especially close to the tennis courts.

Check the Draws !!
There have been some recent withdrawals and your first match time might have changed. since we published the draws. We recommend that the players check the on line draws before coming to the tournament to ascertain your first match times. Thanks.

First-off Consolation – All Challengers and CMZs use the First Off Consolation Format. This format will show as Single Elimination on the tournament homepage, but all players are guaranteed two matches. This format eliminates “maybe matches” and almost every player in consolation will play their first consolation match on Saturday. How does it work? Players that lose in the main draw will be fed into the consolation draw in the order that they come off the court (i.e. the first player to come off the court will go on line one, the sixth player to come off the court will go on line six). This new format ensures more players playing on Saturday and an overall better tournament.

Excessive Overrule Guideline: The USTA Texas Officials Committee along with the Competitive Department has established a guideline in reference to excessive overrules as clarified in the Friend at Court. This guideline states "Once a player has been overruled for a second time in a match, they will be cautioned that after another overrule, they will be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct under the point penalty system."
