WE WILL NOT CANCEL THE TOURNAMENT
We understand the challenges everyone has with the weather and travel plans for this weekend. We are doing everything in our power to play the tournament this weekend and almost got some matches started this afternoon before the last downpour occurred. We will not cancel the tournament until we have exhausted all 4 days of the event. We are already shortening the format for singles. All matches Saturday will be short sets (starting at 2-all), ad scoring with a 10 point match tie break for the third. Any players who choose to withdraw due to the weather will not be penalized in any way. Be sure to email me with the name and age division if you decide you need to withdraw.

WELCOME TO THE AUSTIN TENNIS ACADEMY
We are looking forward to seeing you at the ATA and TennisRecruiting.net Open! The Austin Tennis Academy is a training program for junior tennis players who aspire to achieve excellence through tennis–it is a group of coaches, players and parents dedicated to pursuing excellence in tennis and life. The mission of the Austin Tennis Academy is to create a local junior tennis community, dedicated to developing students to their fullest potential in tennis, academics and character. One of our primary objectives is to help students use tennis to help them make the perfect college choice. The flagship service of the Austin Tennis Academy is the Academy Program. The Academy Program is tennis training and fitness training for top level players and those that aspire to be top level players. Top level in this case means Superchamp level in the USTA Texas Section and nationally ranked players in the United States and for those with the talent and drive, success at the National and International level. Players in the Academy program look at their lives through the prism of being a tennis athlete. They train on and off the court, they travel to meet the competition, they are focused on lofty goals in tennis performance. We pride ourselves on our collaborative relationship we share with our parents and pride ourselves on that being an element that makes us unique among tennis academies. Our students are special. Not only do they pursue athletic and academic excellence, they are partners in making our program successful, they participate with younger players as mentors, and take responsibility for making the program and each other better. Call us today at 512.276.2271 or email us at info@AustinTennisAcademy.com. We'd love to tell you more about our programs, short programs, and summer camps.
