Saturday Main Draw match update! Expect to play 4 rounds on Saturday.
Due to a high chance of rain on Sunday, we have decided to add an additional round in the main draw on Saturday. This will allow the players a chance to earn more points. Under the recommendation of the USTA Texas Junior council and the Tournament Director, we will be playing all the main draw, and semi's with no add scoring and a 10 point tie break for the third set. Expect these matches to play late on Saturday evening. Lake Highlands High School will move to Huffhines Tennis Center while Richardson High School will move to John Paul HS. for their last matches. All other locations will be staying at their original site for the fourth round. All Site Director's will be giving directions as to match times and locations. If there is a question, the site directors phone number is listed on the map link.

Tournament Warm up/practice courts:
Due to the size of the tournament and the fact that there is also a ZAT going on in Dallas, we suggest that players use tennismaps.com to locate potential park courts for warm up. With both tournaments combined we are using approx 19 tournament sites so practice courts are at a premium. We will do our best to have locations open early to accommodate the first round matches.
|
Tournament Sites: Please pay attention to your match location and the abbreviation. Some draw locations will change from Sat to Sun!
The abreviation next to your time on the draw indicates the location. The Site Director phone number will be available on Saturday if you need to call. Please do not call the Tournament Director unless you have official business.

First-off Consolation – All Challengers and CMZs use the First Off Consolation Format. This format will show as Single Elimination on the tournament homepage, but all players are guaranteed two matches. This format eliminates “maybe matches” and almost every player in consolation will play their first consolation match on Saturday. How does it work? Players that lose in the main draw will be fed into the consolation draw in the order that they come off the court (i.e. the first player to come off the court will go on line one, the sixth player to come off the court will go on line six). This new format ensures more players playing on Saturday and an overall better tournament.
