Weather Update 2:50 p.m.
It appears that the last wave of rain will soon move through
the Plano area. Therefore, we have
scheduled all matches to start at 4:30 p.m.
Please arrive early—we need help from family and friends in rol-drying
the courts.
To allow all matches to start at 4:30 p.m., we have added
another site--Collin College. Consequently, we must move 5 events to Collin
College. Those events are: Girls
14 Blue, Girls 16 White, Girls 16 Blue, Girls 18 Red, and Girls 18 White. All other events will play at their
original site.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE REGARDING SUNDAY SCHEDULE
Saturday, 9:40 p.m.
We will update this webpage by 6:30 a.m. if rain is an issue
tomorrow morning. We will also post a voice message at 972-941-7170, option 1. The voice message system can handle many
calls at one time and is an excellent source of info if online access is not
possible.
If we have rain early tomorrow morning, we will start play
as early as possible after the rains ends.
Please check the webpage often for updates and be ready to get to your
playing site as quickly as possible. We
plan to complete the tournament if at all possible. Alternate formats of play ((No-ad scoring,
deciding match tiebreak, shorts sets) may be used to shorten matches and
increase the likelihood of finishing the tournament.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE--SCHEDULE CHANGE
With rain predicted for Sunday, we have scheduled an
additional round of play (quarterfinals) of the main draws to be played on
Saturday. Please check the playing times
posted on this website for updated times for the quarterfinals in all main
draws.
Due to more matches being played on Saturday than originally
planned, the entire Sunday schedule has been changed. Please check the draw sheets on this website for
updated playing times on Sunday. One playing
site has been eliminated—please also check playing sites on Sunday closely.
On Sunday, there is a good chance that we will shorten the
matches, especially in the consolation draws.
No decision on such will be made until Sunday.
Thank you.

2014 April CMZ Points
Due to multiple weather cancellations, the Junior Tennis Council has decided to increase the Champ Major Zone (CMZ) point chart for April 2014 only. This is a one-time change. Final rounds of the main draw will not be played. Rounds of 32 and 16 will play a 10-point tiebreaker in lieu of the third set. The quarter-final and semi-final rounds will play full two-out-of-three set matches. Players who reach the finals of the main draw will automatically qualify for Super Champs.
