SIGNING UP FOR TWO EVENTS/MIDWEST SUSPENSION POINT SYSTEM
The USTA/Midwest Section Suspension Point System is in effect. You
are expected to play the entire event as scheduled. All players
will be given FIVE (5) suspension points for entering two or more
tournaments that take place at the same time, in whole or in part,

SCORING
All Main Draw singles matches will play best 2 of 3 tiebreak sets
with advantage scoring in all matches. FIC singles matches will
play a Matchtiebreak (Supertiebreak) in lieu of the third set with
advantage scoring in all matches. All doubles matches will play an
8-game proset with a 10-point tiebreak at 8 games all with
advantage scoring in all matches. After splitting sets, a player
will be entitled to a three minute break before playing the Match
Tiebreak or a 10 minute break before playing a 3rd set. The player
is allowed to leave the court, talk to a coach or parent, make a
phone call, etc. We recommend you DO NOT leave the court because of
the short time frame, and we will allow coaches, parents, etc to
talk with you behind the fence of the court but not on the court.
If a player is late coming back to the court, the penalty is loss
of a game, which in FIC will result in Loss of Match Tiebreak or
Loss of Match.
MATCH FORMAT & RECOVERY RULE
Players may be playing up to three singles matches in a day. "…In
all singles matches in Junior, Adult, Senior, NTRP, and Wheelchair
Divisions in which the match format is two out of three standard
tiebreak sets or more, a rest period of two hours shall be offered
by the Referee before the player's next singles match…" This

match tiebreak is played, only 1 hour rest period will be
given.
