LEVEL 2 MIDWEST USTA POINTS PER ROUND, LEVEL 5
NATIONAL POINTS PER ROUND
TOURNAMENT WILL BE A 64 DRAW SINGLES AND INCLUDE A
FEED-IN CONSOLATION.
Main Draw will play two out of three full sets and Consolation will
play a Matchtiebreak (Supertiebreak) in lieu of the third set. Two
matches a day for the Main Draw and up to three matches per day for
the Consolation. The FIC Consolation does not finish and it will
stop at the Semi-finals due to the tournament lasting only three
days. Most matches will be played at Moorland Park Tennis
Center(MPTC), 4 FIC matches will be played at Western Racquet Club
(WRCEG) on Saturday.

GUIDELINES FOR DUAL PAIRED LEVEL 1/3 AND LEVEL 2/4 TOURNAMENTS ON
THE SAME WEEKEND:
You must read this document before signing up for this event. You
are no longer allowed to sign up for both events on the same
weekend till after the selections for the higher level event have
been posted. If you are a Competitor of the higher level event
(Level 1 or 2), you will not be allowed to sign up for the lower
level event (Level 3 or 4). Click here

REMINDER: THIS IS A THREE DAY EVENT
This tournament ends on Monday. If you MUST go to school or parents
MUST go to work on Monday, do NOT sign up for this event even if
you think you will not "make it" till Monday. You must be Injured,
Ill or there must be an Emergency for you to withdraw. The USTA
Referee has the right to ask for Doctor's proof.

BE POSTED BY MONDAY, FEBRUARY 18th , BY 6PM
USTA/MIDWEST SECTION SEEDING & SELECTION
CRITERIA
All USTA/Midwest Sectional and Designated Tournaments will adhere
to the following Seeding and Selection Criteria as set by the
USTA/Midwest Section Junior Competition Committee. Players will be
selected based on the most current USTA/Midwest Section Standing
List at the time of the tournament entry deadline. Players will be
selected by the following 1. Eight (8) players from the top 100 of
the most current USTA/Midwest Section Standing List in next lower
division (
except in the boys and girls 12s divisions
where 4 players will be selected) 2. 56 players from the most
current USTA/Midwest Section Standing List in the current age
division of the event (except in the boys and girls 12s division
where 60 players will be accepted) Remaining vacancies and/or
alternates will be selected from the USTA/Midwest Section Standing
List in the division of the event. Alternates will be numbered with
this Midwest Standings List. Seeding will be done based on the
USTA/Midwest Section Standing List the following week.
SCORING
All Main Draw matches will be
full 2/3 sets and
all Consolation matches will play a Matchtiebreak (Supertiebreak)
in lieu of the third set with advantage scoring on all matches.
Some players in the Consolation may be playing up to three matches
in a day. A player will be entitled to a three minute break after
splitting sets and before playing the Matchtiebreak.

PRACTICE/WARM-UP COURTS
Moorland Park Tennis Center will have a limited amount of
Practice Courts on Friday night,
Full court for an
hour for the reduced rate of $10 per player per hour.
Warm-Up Courts start Saturday at 7am and will be available
free of charge. Courts will all be available from 7am-8am with no
reservations taken. Players will be asked to go 4 to a
court
.
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE COURTS
You will have to call these individual clubs if you cannot find a
court at Moorland Park Tennis Center. Princeton Tennis Club, 14999
W Beloit Rd, New Berlin • (414) 427-1100, will have practice courts
available on Saturday and Sunday morning , regular rates apply.
Please mention the B18 Midwest Designated. 3 miles from Moorland
Park Tennis Center. Elite West Brookfield 600 N. Barker Road, (262)
786-3330, regular rates apply depending on time of day and located
5 miles from Moorland.
FIRST ROUND REPORT TIME INFORMATION WILL BE
AVAILABLE ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27th , AT 6PM.
Come back to this page on and click on the blue Future Match Info Report to find out your first match
time. Players from the same district will not play each other first
round unless an alternate fills a spot or more than half the draw
is from the same district.

DIRECTIONS TO THE CLUB
Moorland Park Tennis Center is located at 2900 S 163rd St. From
I-43, exit Moorland Rd head North, left on Cleveland and then left
on 163rd St. From I-94 head South on Moorland, turn right on
Cleveland and left on 163rd St. 262-782-0420. On Saturday afternoon
we will play 4 FIC matches at Western Racquet Club, 1800 Highland
Dr, Elm Grove, WI 53122, 262-786-7555. From Moorland Park Tennis
Center, Head North on 163rd St, then right on Cleveland, then left
on Moorland. After 3 miles, turn right on Watertown Plank Rd, then
left on Highland. Just after the railroad tracks, you will turn
right on club drive. Club drive will turn into the clubs parking
lot.

TELEPHONE NUMBERS AND YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS.
The USTA Legal Department has determined that they cannot provide
contact information to tournament directors unless the customer
provides the contact information during the registration process.
Previously the home phone number and email address were pre-filled
from the USTA Membership database when a player went through the
online registration process. The pre-fill was removed due to
privacy concerns. If you don't provide an email address and/or
telephone number when you register for this tournament then we will
be unable to notify you about any possible changes in the
tournament.
USTA/MIDWEST SECTIONS SUSPENSION POINT SYSTEM AND
SIGNING UP FOR TWO TOURNAMENTS.
Signing up for two events: The USTA Code of Conduct and Suspension
Point System is in effect. You are expected to play the entire
event as scheduled. The USTA/Midwest Section Junior Competition
Committee has adopted a new Suspension Point System. All players
will be given five (5) suspension points for entering two or more
tournaments that take place at the same time, in whole or in part,
unless each Tournament Committee involved agrees with the multiple
entries in writing via e-mail. This applies to all players who
signed up for the tournament including alternates.
USTA/MIDWEST SECTION DOMICILE RULES:
The USTA/Midwest Section Closed Junior Championships, the district
qualifiers, the USTA/Midwest Section Designated Tournaments and
USTA/Midwest Section Junior Davis & Wightman Cup events are
open to citizens of the U.S., permanent resident aliens in
possession of a valid alien registration card, individuals who are
applicants for adjustment to lawful permanent resident status and
who can present a USCIS receipt for a pending unadjudicated form
I-485, aliens who have resided continuously in the US for more than
one year and who are members of families of persons in the
diplomatic or consular corps and aliens who have been granted
Refugee Status, Asylee Status or Temporary Protected Status.
DRAWS WILL BE POSTED AT THE START OF THE
TOURNAMENT.
