Baseline Tennis Center Winter Championships - (Boys & Girls - Level 6)

All 12U matches will be best of 2 sets with a 10-point tiebreaker to decide the match. All other main draw singles will be full 2 out of 3 sets. All consolation draw singles will be best of 2 sets with a 10-point (super) tiebreaker to decide the match. All draws are first match loser consolation or round robin types.

Players are not permitted to default or withdraw from their first main draw match and enter the consolation. Doing so would create an insurmountable back up of consolation matches and the tournament could not be completed on time. If a player must withdraw from their first match, the player is considered withdrawn from the event entirely, no exceptions.

Any entry added to the tournament after the registration deadline has passed will have a $10 processing fee added to the total.

PARKING

Due to the close proximity of the Baseline Tennis Center to 4 major athletic venues, parking may be at event rates (up to $10.00/car) with no in/out privileges. Metered parking is available behind the building at $1.25/hr (quarters only) as available. Please consider carpooling, walking a longer distance, etc. to minimize the impact of these events. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

BTC Tournament Refund Policy

Refunds for tournament entry fees are offered as follows: * Prior to entries closing, players must withdraw electronically through the Tennis Link system. * After the close of entries through the business day prior to the beginning of a tournament, Baseline Tennis Center will refund entry fees for a medical/family emergency reason only. A $10 processing fee will be assessed to each refund per event. (This is based on the event fee, and does not include the $3 Internet registration fee.) * No refunds are offered for withdrawals after the close of the business day prior to the beginning of a tournament through the close of the event (i.e. 5pm Thursday for a tournament that begins Friday).

COURT SHOES ONLY- NO BLACK SOLES OR MARKING SHOES ALLOWED.

No gum and or candy on the courts.

SEEDING - The Computerized List Method will be used for seeding (FAC Comment II.A-4), based on the current standings/ranking list.

COMPETITORS LIST - ALTERNATE LIST - EMAIL

If you find your name on the alternate list, it means one of three things: 1. You did not have enough points to qualify for the tournament based on the age group you selected. 2. In the case of a Level 7, you had too many points. 3. You may have been the only player in that age group, therefore it is not being held. - Being placed as an "Alternate" means you did not qualify for the tournament based on one of the above points. - If you do not qualify for the tournament and are not selected, you WILL BE notified via the email address you provided when you registered for the tournament and your credit card WILL NOT be charged. - If you do qualify for the tournament, you WILL NOT be notified and must check the draw for start times. ***SCHEDULE OF PLAY***

Please do not contact tournament staff regarding scheduling requests for the weekend. To comply with USTA policies, we are required to accept all timely entrants into an event and to complete the event within the dates listed. In the rare case of extremely large draw sizes and a finite number of days to complete the event, we may be forced to schedule Friday daytime play. When Friday match times are necessary, we do all we can to avoid work and school conflicts to ensure an excellent tournament experience, but tournament staff cannot accommodate scheduling requests.

DRAWS LARGER THAN 32 PLAYERS

If you are having trouble finding a player in the draw once draws are posted, please check the view of the draw. In the case of draws larger than 32 players, you may have to select the 33-64 player draw to find the scheduled match time.
