Tournament/Match Format: .
The tournament is a full feed-in consolation event. All events will
utilize a match tie-breaker for the third set until the finals, the
consolation final, and the 3/4 playoff. This change was made by the
WMTA Competition Committee to deal with newly past USTA rest
guidelines. The Wilson US Open is the official tournament ball for
the 12-18's events. *The WMTA Junior Competition Committee approved
this plan so players still in school could participate and that the
Qualifier may end in a timely manner. NO additional match time
avoidances will be considered past the close of the registration
process. The B/G 10's qualifying tournament to the Shoot-Out in
Indianapolis will be played on the weekend of May 31st through June
2nd in Grand Rapids. The tournament # is 850093613. The B/G 8s

online entry and provide the district endorser with their
confirmation number before their final match of the qualifier.

districts that make up the Midwest Tennis Section. These elite team
competitions are June 14-16th. Selection to represent our district
is a limited privilege. Individual age group coaches will be
evaluating and selecting players based upon match results, game
development, sportsmanship, and player record during the qualifier.
The coaches will accompany their teams to compete in the following
age groups: Boys 18s Coach Mark Riley. Girls 18s Coach Mark Murphy.
B/G 14s Coach Oak Saad. B/G 12s Coach Mark Ficks. Parents will be
expected to provide transportation and supervision for the

will be available through the team coach or by contacting the
Western Michigan District office.

National or Sectional results in all age groups in order to
properly seed the event.) Please fax a player record only if your
