BROADSTONE UPDATE:
Courts are not available at BRC until 11:00 am Saturday morning. Matches will start at that time and continue from there. Remember, if you are scheduled to play at Broadstone, CHECK IN THERE, DO NOT come to Gold River RC first.

DRAWS ARE AVAILABLE
Draws and schedules are available. The schedule is only for the first weekend. We will schedule the second weekend by Wednesday of next week, based on results of the first weekend play. If you are scheduled to play at Broadstone RC, CHECK IN THERE, DO NOT come to Gold River RC first.

DOUBLES ENTRY:
Singles players may only play doubles in the same age group or a higher age group. They may not play down in doubles. BOTH partners must enter online before the deadline. If a player does not have a partner by the deadline, we will assign one for them or make every effort to find one for them.

DOUBLES SCHEDULE:
Barring weather issues, ALL Doubles divisions will start play the first weekend. We plan to schedule at least 2 rounds in each division so all teams will have at least 1 match played the first weekend.

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY:
All tournaments run by Spare Time Clubs have a Zero Tolerance policy regarding parents, coaches & spectators displaying or perceived to be displaying inappropriate and disruptive behavior.
If inappropriate behavior is displayed or perceived, the match will be stopped by tournament officials when the parent/coach/spectator displaying inappropriate and disruptive behavior interferes with other spectators or participants of the game. Officials will identify violators for the purpose of removing them from the viewing/game area and possible removal from the facility. Once removed, play will resume. Violators will be reported to the USTA. This inappropriate and disruptive behavior shall include:
(1) Using obscene or vulgar gestures in a boisterous manner, to anyone at anytime:
(2) Taunting players, officials or other spectators by means of baiting, ridiculing, threats of physical violence or actual physical violence:
(3) Coaching players outside of allowable times.
Violators will be escorted from the facility and not allowed to return until the next day or may be banned from the entire event, if approved by the tournament committee, club and/or facility management. We are private facilities and reserve the right to refuse entrance to anyone into our facilities.

PRACTICE COURTS:
Miller Park in Fair Oaks and Ed Mitchell Park in Folsom are recommended practice courts. Practice courts on site should be available prior to the first matches each day but not during tournament match play, which will require all the courts.

Gold River Racquet Club, 2201 Gold Rush Dr., Gold River CA
95670, is the main site for the tournament. Broadstone Racquet
Club, 820 Halidon Way, Folsom CA 95630, may be used as a Satellite
location if needed. Please report directly to the Tournament Desk
at the location of your scheduled match. This is a National Level 5
event. Late entries will NOT be accepted.

Matches will be the best of 3 tie break sets in all divisions
except 12 and under age categories and doubles. In 12 and under
singles a match tie break will be played in lieu of the third set.
In all doubles matches, an 8-game Pro Set will be played. Please
find your own partner for doubles and both partners must enter
online. However, Bard Rickey, Tournament Referee, will assist if
you need help. There is a FMLC Consolation event for 12 singles
divisions for players losing their first match. No consolations in
any of the other divisions.
The Wilson U.S. Open Championship ball will be used. There will be
a 3rd/4th playoff in all main draw singles events, not in doubles.
Seedings will be based on the most current ranking prior to the
closing of entries.
Please contact Tournament Referee, Bard Rickey, or Rich Andrews,
Tournament Director at the listed contact information if you are
unabled to attend. Written verification of your withdrawal contact
is required by e-mail.
In the event of bad weather the Referee will post updates and
instructions about schedule delays and changes to match starting
times on the tournament home page.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, March 10, 2013 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
