THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS APPLY TO EVERYONE FOR THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF OUR GUESTS AND EMPLOYEES:
• Guests must reserve a court prior to arrival; “drop-ins” are not permitted at this time; Please note: indoor courts are not available at this time. • Guests must wear a face covering/mask at all times (except when you are active on court). • All guests will have a temperature check upon arrival and fill out a health questionnaire provided before entering the Welcome Center; Please note: if you have a fever of 100.4 or more and/or are unable to meet the requirements of the health questionnaire you will not be permitted entry. • Locker rooms are temporarily closed. Please arrive dressed and ready for play. • Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to play to allow for temperature checks, but do not proceed to the courts prior to 10 minutes before play. • Please leave Campus grounds within 10 minutes of completion of play to comply with staggered start times for social distancing. • Guests are responsible for managing their own equipment. • Guests must supply their own towels. • Guests must bring their own drinks/full water bottles; Please note: vending machines, Net Post Grill and Courtside Café will remain temporarily closed. • Due to reduced on-site capacity, and to maintain social distancing, a maximum of one guardian per child will be permitted at this time. • In the event of rain, you will be required to return to your car to ensure groups are not congregating in any areas and social distancing is maintained. • If any guest or guest’s child refuses to comply with these requirements, they will be asked to depart the Campus.

Tournament Status Update - July 13
The USTA National Championships have been cancelled due to the concern of the COVID-19 virus.

Selection Process
For information regarding the selection process, please see the "Selection Process" tab. The National Standing List used for player selection will be the list published on June 17, 2020 which includes tournament results from March 19, 2019 - March 18, 2020. 8 wild card spots will be available.
Player Selections will take place immediately after the entry deadline and will be completed no later than Tuesday, July 21.

Wild Cards
All applicants must be eligible to enter a USTA National Championship, be in good standing with their Sectional Association, and may not be under suspension by the USTA. Wild card consideration is given to players who were unable to meet their section’s requirements for endorsement to USTA National Championships. Applicants are not required to submit timely entries into the tournament to be considered for a wild card.
Applications MUST be filed separately for each National Championship and submitted online no later than 5:00 pm Eastern Time five (5) days after the entry deadline for the tournament for which the Wild Card is sought.

Safety Policy and Procedure
The tournament will adhere to a comprehensive safety plan that includes enhanced sanitization measures and mandatory face coverings, with the exception of on-court players and officials. The health and safety protocols were developed in conjunction with the USTA Medical Advisory Group and comply with local and state agencies.

Player, Guest, and Spectator Rules
Players may have only one guest accompany them on-site. Players and guests will be given credentials that must be shown upon entry of the facility. Additional spectators, including college coaches, will not be permitted on-site. Match recordings will be made available to players to distribute to coaches if desired.

Match Formats
Main Draw Singles (including playoff for 3rd & 4th place): best of 3 tiebreak sets, regular scoring
Feed-In Consolation: best of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set, regular scoring
Doubles: best of 3 tiebreak sets shall be used in the semifinal, final, and playoff for 3rd place with no-ad scoring. All other doubles matches shall use the best of 3 Tiebreak sets with a 10-Point Match Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set; no-ad scoring.

Doubles Registration
Players must submit doubles pairing by August 6 to Lauren.Rothstein@usta.com. Emails by BOTH players MUST be sent to process the team. Last-minute changes will only be accepted for last-minute alternates and withdrawals. Per USTA rules, the tournament staff cannot give our player/parent contact information.

Entry Fee Refunds
Refunds are not guaranteed after entries close. No entry fee is charged if a player withdraws before entries close.

Guest Health Questionnaire - USTA National Campus
To provide a safe environment at the USTA National Campus, the following health questionnaire must be completed by all guests, including both parent and their minor child if coming together, prior to entering the grounds of the National Campus. This Guest Health Questionnaire must be signed each day you visit and immediately before you arrive at the National Campus.

Physical Distancing Practices
While at the tournament, players and tournament guests shall maintain 6 ft. physical distancing and wash hands often.

Match Balls
For match play, each player/team will be provided with their own can of balls (numbered differently). Players/teams shall only serve with their numbered balls and use their rackets (not hands) to return their opponent’s match balls. Because the match will be played with 2 cans of balls, a new can of balls will NOT be provided for the 3rd set.

Players to bring their own water, equipment, etc
Players are advised to come to the facility prepared with their own water, ice, practice balls, snacks, etc. Water coolers will not be provided on-court. Also, players should keep hand sanitizer in their bag.

No handshakes post-match
Players are advised to forgo the post-match handshake. We recommend that they do a “racket tap” at the completion of a match instead.

Restrict activities while in Orlando
While we recognize that the opportunity to explore a new city and socializing with friends from across the country is generally a part of the National Tournament experience. Due to the current environment created by the coronavirus, players and their families are highly encouraged to limit their activities and movements to only the tennis facility and hotel as much as possible. Be sure to follow social distancing practices when visiting grocery stores, gas stations, etc.

Refer to the CDC’s travel tips when driving or flying to the tournament and take into consideration the safety measure recommended.

Mandatory Face Masks/Coverings
Everyone is required to wear a face mask/covering while at the tournament facility and may only be removed when on court or for eating/drinking. [Also, please be advised the Orange County has a mask mandate currently in effect making it necessary to wear a face mask in ALL public areas]. Please come prepared with your own face masks/coverings.

Players are selected from a variety of National Lists and generally require Section endorsement.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Monday, July 13, 2020 11:45:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
