WWTA Summer Sizzle Adult Tournament( NC 200/STA 150)

All matches that were on court report back for play at 5:00, all 1;00 matches also report at 5:00PM. All 1:30 and later matches are on a 4 hour delay (ex: 1:30pm would now play at 5:30PM)

Weather is holding, courts are drying and fingers are crossed to resume play at 5:00PM. Next update at 4:30PM

Play is suspended due to rain, another update will will be posted at 2:30pm, no play before 3:00pm. We are planning on continuing play today,.

All Tournament Draws are posted and ready to view.

There will be matches Friday evening in most all divisions. Player party Friday 5:30PM-8:30PM, Salad, Pasta and Cash Bar. Come on out!

Draw have been posted and the schedule for Friday and Saturday has been completed. Please check time match time and be ready to play your match at that time. ARRIVE EARLY TO CHECK-IN!

Due to the Summer heat you may only enter 1 event, no exceptions..

Directions from anywhere in N.C. to the Cary Tennis Park 2727 Louis Stephens Drive From northwest of Cary to Cary Tennis Park: From Interstate 40 East, take exit #278 on the right. Go 0.2 miles. Turn right onto NC -55 South. Go 6.5 miles. Turn left onto Morrisville Carpenter Road. Go 0.1 miles. Turn right onto Carpenter-Upchurch Road. Go 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Louis Stevens Drive. Go 0.8 miles. Turn left into Cary Tennis Park.

From south of Cary to Cary Tennis Park: On NC 55, cross US 1 at Apex and continue on NC 55. Go 6 miles. Turn right onto High House Road. Turn left onto Carpenter Upchurch Road, Turn right onto Louis Stephens Dr. Turn left into Cary Tennis Park (2727 Louis Stephens Dr).

From northeast of Raleigh to Cary Tennis Park: After reaching I-440 South/Inner Beltline, continue south on this Interstate past exit #16 toward Durham. Continue with the set of directions above labeled "From southeast of Raleigh", starting at step 1. (Exit #16 is in the same area as exit #301 in those directions.)From northwest of Cary to Cary Tennis Park.


From southeast of Raleigh to Cary Tennis Park:From Interstate 40 West coming into Raleigh, pass exit #301 and bear left onto I-40 West/I-440/Inner Beltline. Go 8 miles.
Take exit #293A onto US 64 West / US 1 South (not north) Go 2 miles.
Take the exit on the right onto Cary Parkway. Go 5 miles.
Turn left onto High House Road.
Turn right onto Carpenter Upchurch Rd.
Turn right onto Louis Stephens Dr.
Turn left into Cary Tennis Park (2727 Louis Stephens Dr)..

The Cary Tennis Park has 13 courts with Playsight Live Streaming Cameras which will be streaming during the tournament. People may view the courts on a desktop by visiting Playsight.com and selecting the tab “Live and on Demand” then searching “Town of Cary”. From there you would then select the “Town of Cary” and then choose the court you wish to view. Playsight also has an app for viewing from a tablet or mobile device. You must download the app and set up a free Playsight account.

Players may purchase a video recording of matches played on the live streamed courts at $30 per match. To purchase a match, you must first download the Playsight app and set up a free Playsight account. Then follow these steps to purchase and record a match.
1. Determine if the player is assigned to a Live Streamed Court (Courts 1-12 and Stadium)
2. Go to the front desk of the Cary Tennis Park and purchase access to the QR code assigned to that court.
3. Once you purchase the access, you will be given your receipt and a Playsight Card to deliver to the Tournament Desk.
4. The Tournament Desk will confirm the PlaySight court which court the player is assigned, take your Playsight Card, and will present the QR code for the assigned court to be scanned through the app.
5. Once the QR Code is scanned you will be able to join the session of that particular court. Please do not leave the session in the app, as it will terminate your recorded.
6. Once the match is completed and you leave the session, the recording will be downloaded onto your Playsight account through the app for viewing. It will show up under the activities tab. (This may take 5-10 minutes)

You may use personal recording devices to record a player’s match. If the opponent requests that their player not be recorded, you must either remove the device or only record your player’s side of the court.

All players need to have an NTRP rating prior to playing this tournament. If you do not have a rating, you can self-rate yourself by:
1. Go to www.nctennis.com.
2. Click on TennisLink under Quick Hits on the right side of the page.
3. Log in to your USTA account or CREATE an account (right side of the page in RED) if you do not
currently have one. Player will need his USTA#.
4. Click on "Self Rate" under the "Find NTRP Rating Info" search box.
5. Follow the instructions and answer the questions provided.
If your minimum rating allowed is higher than you anticipated, make sure to click on the link to file a self- rate appeal.
