With rain on Friday and Saturday and even Saturday night , we completed all singles main draw, got to the quarters of back draws, finished doubles for Boys and Girls 14 and got to the finals of Boys and Girls 12. Auburn University Womens Tennis Matches .Sunday April 1st. starting at 12:00p.m. Warm-up is at 10a.m. All surrounding this year 's Bullfrog for your entertainment.

This tournament will have doubles The tournament ID for doubles registration is 703233012. Doubles play will begin on Friday evening with two rounds. ( It is an 8-game pro set.) We do NOT partner players. Please enter doubles in the same age group that you were accepted in for singles. It is your job to find a partner, confirm the partnership, and then register by the doubles deadline. BOTH partners must (mandatory) sign up with your partner. If you only are playing doubles, then the fee is $25.00, which is payable at the first doubles match. more info

All players must have a Birth Certificate on file in the Southern office for proof of US citizenship..Green cards will be accepted, but passports will not. A file of those with proof on file is posted above. more info more info

The alternates by Event Report will be updated daily. Contact us immediately if you realize that you cannot come. It is the alternate's responsibility to check the website to see if your alternate status has changed. The tournament will make every effort to contact you if your status changes and as a result you are selected to play in the tournament. You should make sure your contact information is correct on your membership profile. The tournament will not be responsible for a player not selected in the event the tournament cannot contact him/her due to incorrect or outdated contact information. Once an alternate is selected for play, payment is due immediately. Click the "Alternate by Events" tab above to view the updated alternates list. (Payments are not made on line for alternates).

The ordered "Alternate Lists" should be posted March 21st. Late entries will appear at the end of these lists and are ordered by the time that the tournament received notification. The "Competitor List", located directly above, is the list of players selected for the tournament. This is the list that changes as players are withdrawn and then replaced.

SELECTION CRITERIA Entry will be based on selection criteria of 56 from the age group of the event and up to 8 from the lower age group who do not get in the first 56, and who are in the top 80 of the Southern standings in the lower age group at the time of selection

Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these guidelines: #1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for will automatically be selected to the older age division. They would be removed from the other age division. #2. Players not selected to either divisions would remain on the alternates lists for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in, from the alt. list. They would be removed from the Alternate list in the other division. #3. Players selected to one age division would be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected. #4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.

WITHDRAWALS: If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do so online (follow the directions listed at the bottom of this message). All withdrawals after entries close must be sent in writing by E-Mail to tdebardelaben@auburnalabama.org. You must include the reason for the withdrawal, players name, players age division and USTA #. We also would like for you to include phone contact information just in case we need to call you. Please notify us immediately upon your decision to withdraw so another player will have an opportunity to be selected to play. Players not withdrawing on or before 9:00 AM on Saturday, March 24th will NOT be refunded the entry fee as regulated by Friend At Court - National USTA Regulations.SOUTHERN will issue 1 suspension point to each player for late withdrawals following this rule.Thank you

Refer FUTURE MATCH REPORTS on the Doubles sites. Friday Doubles Start Times: Be prepared to play doubles beginning at 5pm on Friday, though of course, not everybody will start at 5pm. Match times will be available Thursday by 12:00 PM (noon).

Do not enter two tournaments at the same time. How to avoid Penalties: If you end up on the alternate list, you must with-draw from the alternate list first and then enter the 2nd event. Tournaments have different deadlines that will allow you time to make your changes.

USTA SOUTHERN SINGLES SEEDING CRITERIA: Seeding shall be done using only the results from the most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings List (Published List used for selections) of the division in the order in which players appear on the list. Players who have a standing in the next younger age division MAY be seeded in any group of seeds if they are in the top 10 of the most recently published USTA Southern Combined Standings List of any younger age division. Players with current top 50 USTA National standing, top 100 ITF ranking, top 10000 ATP or WTA rankings should be considered for seeding.

Registration: will begin March 30 (Friday) at 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Saturday all day beginning at 7:30AM. Players who do not register may register ONE HOUR before their schedule match time. Registration is at the main site Yarbrough Tennis Center only. Only the player is allowed to register into the tournament. Have you waiver ready. Contact Information: Due to Alternate notification, time changes, and draw changes, it is imperative for you to add contact information (email and phone) during the online registration process when asked. So a player does not lose out, please help us by offering this contact information.

If you know that your coming and have receieved entry to prior Bullfrogs , please make your reservations early. State to the hotel your with the Bullfrog with Cindy Chancellor. We have 280 rooms blocked until March 22nd , but please book early .

***NEW USTA RULES FOR 2011*** When using a 10 point tiebreaker in lieu of the full 3rd set, there will be a mandatory 3 minute break. Coaching will be allowed during this break. When using a full 3rd set, there will be a mandatory 10 minute break between the 2nd and 3rd sets for ALL age divisions. Line calls changed from "out" to "in" no longer result in a let. The player who made the incorrect call now loses the point regardless of their subsequent shot.

If you signed up before you were asked for t-shirts sizes which was before Monday , February 27th , please send size to tdebardelaben@auburnalabama.org with name please or your child will receive a size of choice. The selected player list should be posted late Tuesday, March 20th. The ordered alternate lists should be posted late Wednesday or before, March 21rd. The seed lists should be posted by Marchl 27th. We will be playing be playing one main draw match with two doubles with all all ages divisions today Saturday 1/31. All 8 :00a.m. schedules matches for Saturday 1/31 report to your match site by 2:00p.m. we do have some courts available now . Please look at website for further updates. Match scoring has been changed for main and consolation to a third-set tiebreaker. Posted Saturday 3/31 at 1:46p.m.

All doubles will be played including Monday for all age divsions.

Remember we will be trying to get three main and consolation rounds in today.Boy's 14 and Girls 14's and 12's doubles will play Sunday night , 4/1 and will begin at 7:00p.m at Yarbrough Tennis Center. All matches will be best two out of three sets with a tiebreaker in lieu of the third set. The third set tiebreaker will be a match tiebreak played to ten points with a margin of two points. The consolation will be a full feed-in cnsolation through the quarterfinals. There will be a playoff for third and fourth place in the main draw.

Sunday, April 1 6 indoor and hard court 12 outdoor until 7:35A.M. Indian Pines and Calhoun Tennis Courts will be available all day for warm-up. NO WARM-UP ON CLAY COURTS DUE TO BEING SWEPT FOR MATCHES!!!! FOR 8:00A.M. MATCHES.

Sunday will be Hungry Howies Pizza at 11:30 come enjoy a slice .
