NAT CAT III, Midwest Claycourt Championship - BCCTC Senior Open

This USTA National Cat III event is also a Midwest Section Championship, senior 55s,60s,65s singles at the Beavercreek Clay Courts Tennis Club (Beavercreek, OH), 9-11 Aug 2019 on HarTur clay courts. This event will consist of a singles 16-player compass draw for each age bracket, National Cat III PPR points, fast-4 format, so all are guaranteed four matches over the three days. The first 16 players in each age bracket will be selected...the tourney will open for entries on May 4th, 2019. Additional entries will be listed in the alternate list. There will be a wine-social on Saturday evening, lunches provided and free access to the Swim club. Western-Southern (Cincinnati) is hosting their Pro tournament 10-18Aug...only a 40 min drive away so players can stay and watch the matches on Monday/Tuesday. Winners of each age bracket will receive 2 free tickets to the Monday, Aug 12th evening matches. We will try to provide free housing (i.e. local tennis club members will host players for the weekend) for players that need housing.
SpringHill Suites by Marriot is the host hotel, 2663 Fairfield Commons Drive, Beavercreek 45431, 937-429-9090, $129 King, $139 two queens (please ask for the National BCCTC tournament). Rooms will be held until 25July.
Draws & times will be posted by Aug 6th.Practice courts will be available on Thursday, Aug 8th...please call to reserve courts.
With full 16 entry draws, matches will start at 8:30am Fri, Aug 9th for the 65s, 11:30am for the 60s, and 2pm for the 55s. With smaller draws, matches will start later. Practice courts will be available at 7:30am Fri morning.All matches will be in a Fast4 format. Matches will be played as the best of three short sets (first to 4 games) with a short tiebreak (first to five points, sudden death at four points all) played at three games all with regular scoring in the sets (we are using regular scoring).

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, August 4, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
