Thank you to all participants this weekend for playing in our event! We played 286 matches this weekend... Also, thank you all for your generosity at our auction on Saturday night...We had a great night and will share results as we get them! I hope to see everyone at our event next year! If you are not planning on attending the tournament dinner/auction on Saturday night please email me at jonathan_barth@kiawahresort.com. We need to lock in a head count for attendance by THURSDAY. Your dinner is included in your entry fee. If you are bringing a non-playing spouse or guest the fee is $65 and can be paid in advance by calling the pro shop at (843)768-2838. We are expecting a very large turnout this year so please let me know if you are not able to attend. Thank you for your support.

All players may report directly to their first match location. The tournament headquarters will be at the Roy Barth Tennis Center where you will be able to pick up your tournament gift and check in. If you have any entry fees to pay for adding events or other reasons please come to the Roy Barth Tennis Center or call (843)768-2838 to take care of it. Thank you!

Traffic in Charleston and the area is bad on Friday. Please give yourself plenty of time to get to your match on time. Thank you.

We will be playing most matches at the Roy Barth Tennis Center , but will have some matches played at the Seabrook Island Racquet Club as well. Please refer to the draws for your match time and location. If you have questions or need additional directions please call (843)768-2838.

If you are playing in the following divisions AND ARE ABLE TO PLAY THURSDAY , PLEASE EMAIL ME AT JONATHAN_BARTH@KIAWAHRESORT.COM You may be required to play two matches on Friday because of the size of these divisions and could get one round in on Thursday if possible. The divisions are Men's 4.0 Singles, Men's 4.5 singles, Women's 3.0 Singles, Women's 3.5 Doubles, Women's 4.0 Doubles , Mixed 7.0 Doubles, and Mixed 9.0 Doubles. Thank you

We are looking forward to having you join us for the Haygood/Grady Memorial Tennis Championship on Kiawah Island. I will be working on the schedule/draws starting on Monday and will have the match times/draws available Wednesday evening around 8:00pm. This tournament is being held to honor our friends Prinella Haygood, Linwood Grady, and also Michelle Nemeth. The proceeds from this tournament will be shared between Roper St. Francis Cancer Care and an education trust for Prinella's children ages 10 and 14. We also celebrate the life of Michelle Nemeth by supporting The Lonon Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non profit in the Lowcountry that provides resources to children that have been affected by a parent or caregiver's cancer diagnosis. Please contact me if you have questions...***We are offering AGE DIVISIONS AND NTRP DIVISIONS. ALL AGE DIVISION EVENTS WILL START ON THURSDAY MAY 2. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER AN AGE DIVISION EVENT IF YOU CANNOT PLAY ON THURSDAY, MAY 2nd. You may play one singles, one doubles, and one mixed doubles in either AGE DIVISION or NTRP. Special accommodation rates for scenic one, two, or three bedroom villas are available. One bedroom villas are $169/night, two bedroom villas are $205/night, and three bedroom villas are $235/night. Rates are based on availability of villas and are subject to a 12.5% tax and an 9% daily resort fee. Players may play up to three events IF THEY PLAY ONE SINGLES, ONE DOUBLES, AND ONE MIXED DOUBLES. Players may play two events if they play singles and a regular /mixed doubles or one doubles and one mixed doubles. If you have questions, please call Jonathan at (843)768-2706. Thank you!

We will have the draws and first match times posted Wednesday, May 1 in the evening. Matches will start on Friday for divisions as necessary. If you are playing in multiple events, there is a good chance that you will be playing multiple matches in the same day (including Friday). Singles could start in the morning on Friday.

All main draw matches and consolation will be 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 point match tiebreak for the third set. There will be a First Match Losers Consolation for all DOUBLES AND MIXED divisions. SINGLES WILL BE SINGLE ELIMINATION.

Seeding is done using the ALL Factors Method. The tournament committee considered all reasonably available information, including ranking lists, standing lists, recent records (including league records), and particularly head to head encounters. The number of seeds shall equal the power of two.

The dinner/auction will be from 6-9pm in the new West Beach Conference Center on Saturday night. Dress attire is resort casual. Beer and wine will be complimentary. The menu includes: Field Greens Salad, Cucumber, Red Radish, Baby Heirloom Tomatoes, Dill Ranch Dressing; Spring Onion Potato Bisque, Broccoli Slaw and Golden Raisins and Pecans, Roasted Asparagus and Shiitake Mushroom Salad, Garlic Butter and Parsley New Potatoes, Long Grain and Wild Rice with Spring Peas, Fresh Baked Dinner Rolls and Butter; Pan Seared Chicken Breast with Lemon Artichoke Butter Sauce, Herb Crusted Pork Loin with Orange and Fennel Salad, Double Chocolate Fudge Brownies, Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookies, Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee, Tea.
