Notes
The Germantown Cricket Club is located approximately 15 minutes
from downtown Philadelphia. Our facilities include 45 tennis courts
(24 grass), swimming pool, squash, fitness, bowling, cricket and
beautiful dining facilities located within our historic clubhouse.
During the tournament we invite you to make use of all that GCC has

Start Dates:
45 and 50 singles: Sunday, August 18
40 singles: Monday, August 19
40, 45 and 50 doubles: Monday August 19
Hotel Accommodations:
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott
Philadelphia City Avenue at a rate of $144/night. Rooms must be

Championship
Dress Code:
All white tennis attire is required. Modest color trim is accepted.
This rule applies to socks, hats, warm-up,sweatbands and any other
attire worn on the court. Colored tennis shoes are allowed and
must be flat soled. No grass court specific shoes are permitted
(nothing can be protruding from the sole). All players will be
subject to a shoe check prior to each match. Players found to be
wearing incorrect footwear risk default from their match. Please
note that the Adidas Feather shoe is not permitted.
Practice Courts:
Practice Courts will be avail August 17th after 1pm. Please text

kzingler@germantowncricket.org if you would like to use a practice
court.
Player Happy Hour:
Will be held on Tuesday August 20, on the Ballroom Porch at 6:30
pm. Attire is casual. Dinner is complimentary for Tournament
Players.
Guest tickets are $35 per person.
Events:
No more than two events per person
Refunds:
No refunds will be issued after close of entries. Any request for a
refund prior to the close of entries must be submitted in
writing.
Seeds and Draws:
Seeds will be posted no later than Sunday, August 11. Draws will be
posted no later than Wednesday, August 14.
Player Selection TypeNo Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, August 4, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
